Group A words can be written about easily. In Group B, the words 'Minecraft' and 'Role playing games' are very specific. It is impossible to write about something else, like one could for 'random access memories'. I just wonder, what is a one-up? The internet gave an explanation I didn't understand Reply #105. You could go for the VG interpretation and look at a one-up as an extra life or you could talk about one-upmanship. As for RPGs, as niche as it is, I don't think it's less niche than 'Random Access Memories' as a specific Daft Punk album. And regarding 'Minecraft', that empire is further-reaching than most people would think. Did you know there's a 'Minecraft' LEGO set? Reply #106. Dec 07 18, 7:20 AM |

Well, Random access memories can also be about the computer thingy. Reply #107. Dec 08 18, 6:41 AM |

In that case, RAM is, to my knowledge, never plural. RAM (or Random Access Memory) is the same both singular and plural, kind of like 'Moose' and 'Moose' (instead of 'Mooses'). More than one RAM device would be RAM devices instead of RAMs. 'Random Access Memories', likely, would refer only to the media title of the Daft Punk album. (Unless someone knows something I don't, which is also likely.) Reply #108. Dec 08 18, 7:18 AM |

Don't feel bad-- I picked some tough ones, and for the occasion I doubled my question output. It was time I picked up the slack. ;) Reply #114. Dec 18 18, 1:30 PM |

I finally submitted Master (to hobbies) and Magic Mushroom (to mythology). I'll probably have to work with an editor on these, as the answer blocks were too small for my selections. What's up with this? If I make my answers fit into the selections, then the questions will be harder -- and they're supposed to be easy/intermediate questions. Reply #116. Dec 28 18, 11:25 AM |

Single questions are also, and more importantly, required to be relatively quick to read, as they are used only for timed games. There is a strict limit to the characters so that all players, including those on phones, will see them clearly. It's sometimes really frustrating, but part of the challenge of writing them. I am kinda late, but 'Guitar' is submitted in Music. Will submit 'Minecraft' soon, before splurging on Round 7. Reply #118. Jan 05 19, 1:18 AM |

'Minecraft' went to General, because I didn't know which category to submit it in. Am I the last one to turn their questions in? If yes, finally, this round is truly complete! Off to Round 7! Reply #119. Jan 05 19, 2:45 AM |
