Nope-- that wouldn't be challenging. ;) I would recommend encouraging some ideas. Perhaps people don't know where to start. What ideas would you like to see authors pursue? Maybe someone's interest might be piqued by those ideas. For context, there's no intent to skip over any given challenge or skirt the existing rules. The goal is for these sets of quizzes to have diverse authorship, broad topicality, and few ties to other challenges where possible. Seems like the best criteria for badgelet viability. ;) Some challenges will be harder than others, but like I said, this one's a team effort. Reply #61. Jun 25 23, 5:09 AM |

Well, I think it would be nice to see something pre-1860 in the decades. I mean life existed before the American Civil War era. And I being from the US really know primarily about the US but it would be nice to also know what was going on in decades around the world in earlier times especially. Reply #62. Jun 27 23, 6:55 AM |

I am not eligible to write for this one, but the 1810s have a lot of significant wars, not to mention literary and musical events. And the 1815 London Beer Flood. Reply #63. Jun 27 23, 9:47 PM |

This probably won't work, but I'll ask anyway. Could I write a quiz on a decade of books being published (in the Literature category). Thanks in advance! Reply #64. Jun 27 23, 10:16 PM |

The challenge notes that it requires quizzes be submitted to the History category. Reply #65. Jun 27 23, 10:17 PM |

Oh, that may be my fault I think I told you it was entertainment because I was thinking about the decade thing. I apologize. (to VBookWorm) Reply #66. Jun 29 23, 5:51 AM |

It would be nice to get things in Africa, Australia, Asia, and Antarctica (probably not much there but I don't really know much about it) it seems the A continents don't get as much coverage as the other ones. Reply #67. Jun 29 23, 5:54 AM |

Ilona, you never said Entertainment to me, here and in your PM. No need to apologize! :) Reply #68. Jun 29 23, 8:44 AM |

I heard the 1980s was a great decade and I am not saying that cause its when i was born. Come to think of it the 1880s was also a great decade too. My hero Helen Keller was born in 1880 just thought I’s share that to move this up again and mention some decades. Reply #69. Aug 02 23, 9:29 PM |

That would be amazing-- we've stuck ourselves at this one and there are more challenges to come. :) Reply #71. Aug 31 23, 12:31 PM |

I am amazed we are still stuck here considering all the decades that have done by now in history and we only need two more to be written on.... Reply #72. Oct 15 23, 8:01 AM |

Maybe Quiz-Writing Month in November will push people in this direction. Reply #73. Oct 15 23, 8:15 AM |

Can we do the 2020s or is that too recent? Reply #74. Oct 15 23, 2:56 PM |

There is already a 2020s History subcategory, so I figure it'd work. Reply #75. Oct 15 23, 2:59 PM |

I'd be interested in doing a 1923 quiz if that would be suitable, but I'm not very fast. What is the deadline? Reply #79. Nov 04 23, 7:29 PM |

There is no explicit deadline. The next challenge will not unlock until the previous one is clearer out. Reply #80. Nov 05 23, 8:57 AM |
