Unless I've missed something, which is always possible, there have been absolutely no new crossword challenges for a considerable time.
Last year there were a number of innovative challenges, including one with sets of individually packaged "lettered words" which had to be incorporated into a puzzle. Details of these were sent by mail to those requesting a set. I appreciate such challenges take time for editors to prepare, so if this is not possible could we perhaps have at least the odd challenge to get the competitive juices flowing again?

Hey Moonraker-- you are correct. We're overdue for something or other on this front. I'll chat with the CW eds. On the individually-packaged stuff, these projects were overseen by 1nn1 and manually handed out, so something of this nature would be subject to his availability.
