A Peat Nuzzle Crossword Puzzle

Home» Crosswords» Brain Teasers
Oxford don, the Rev. William Archibald Spooner (1844-1930) might have preached: "The Lord is a shoving leopard!" Certainly, he has blessed us with "spoonerisms": speech occurrences where parts of words in a phrase have switched places, creating a form of wordplay. All the clues and answers in this puzzle involve spoonerisms. My thanks to Jake and Kathleen, regular Fun Trivia crossword solvers, who suggested this style of puzzle. Enjoy!
