The 60s continue and this quiz maintains a high level of quality and accuracy you expect from me. Well, at least enjoy the music. And as always don't take everything literally.

The latest quiz, filled with errata, misleading facts, outright lies and, of course, a little night music.

Yes, it's the 50s again and "twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe." The quiz that follows is more slithy than brillig, but I think you can enjoy it anyway. Suspend your intellect.

So it's the same drill as the first B-TFY, songs either written or recorded in the Boomer years, concentrating on the fifties and not restricted to a specific genre. So return with me now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. (yawn)

This quiz has some fringe and cringe worthy entries. It's R&B biased purely by accident. Some tough questions like, "Does free will really exist?" and "How do you know you are not dreaming right now?" Facts aren't always.

In the 50s while you listened to the radio to real music, lurking in the background were your parents' songs, songs from other parts of the country or world and unique genres that you completely missed. Too bad, you can't go home again.

It's "1984" and our current environment brought in a rush of fresh air. We now have alternative facts sprinkled with a modicum of original facts. Ici aussi. The entrance to the 60s.

We've ventured out of the mainstream on some questions. If you have to get out and pull the boat along, use leech repellent. Unlike me, these quiz songs are in the early 60s. And as always, facts ≠ facts.

1950s. There was a confluence of musical styles: pop, doo wop, swing, jazz, country R&B, folk, rock and roll, classical and polka and their subcategories. The distinctions blurred. It was an incredible time to enjoy music.

It's all about songs and songwriters in the "Great American Songbook" (GAS). It consists of songs from 1920s to the beginning of Rock. "Plus" refers to stretching the envelope of the classical GAS, with bias, to include other songs.
