Beginning with A and continuing on through Z, use the clues to find words that begin with successive alphabet letters and end with ISH. This type of quiz is more fun if you go FAST!
Thanks to crisw for creating fractured quizzes. I give you the title of a children's classic in fractured form. Example: Bloke Bowtie=Black Beauty. You type in the title. By the way, you literary buffs should take some Jane Austen quizzes!
Type in a word that connects the two clue words. You'll be creating sayings, idioms, well-known expressions, and titles. Example: For "Black _______ cream," you type in "ice." All of the questions have something to do with weather or temperature.
I give you a well-known quotation in fractured form. For example: Two bee oar nut tubby = To be or not to be. DON'T INCLUDE ANY PUNCTUATION AT ALL--even if the clue has punctuation!
First, find a connecting word that fits with all three clues: For example, BAG will fit with brown, paper, and old (brown BAG, paper BAG, old BAG). Next, choose a 4th clue that ALSO fits, e.g., book (bookBAG).
This quiz is based on Verbonica's "October Fun" quiz, so you might want to take a look at that before you play this one. Each answer rhymes with the name of a month. The first two items will be multiple choice to get you started.
