Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who says this: "They will pay-all those who had a hand in this, mortal and immortal."?

Answer: Mina

Mina said this line after she buried her queen, Takhisis. After the elf king threw part of a dragonlance at Takhisis, she died in the arms of Mina. She was grateful and angry at the same time for what the elf did, and was starting to have serious doubts about her connection to Takhisis.
2. Who said this: "'You did this, worm?'________ demanded. 'Alone?'"?

Answer: Zeboim

This line was said by Zeboim when she was talking to Mina. Mina was sent by Lord Chemosh, God of Death, to capture Ausric Krell, the death knight. Except, Krell was killed by Zeboim in the murder of her son, Lord Ariakan, and she forced him to live on Storm Keep. After Mina destroyed him by "herself", Zeboim was surprised she did it so easily.
3. Who said this: "I only wish I could convince her Holiness of that."?

Answer: Marta

Marta, the priestess of Zeboim said this line to Lleu, the priest of Kiri-Jolith (before he is turned into the Beloved). Marta was wondering why her goddess was so angry. She also came to say that the humans carrying Mina to Straughton had actually turned to black marble, despite the suspicions Lleu had that the people were lying about it.
4. Who said this: "That demon dog attacked me!"?

Answer: Lleu

Lleu said this line to Rhys when his dog Atta attacked him. He and his parents had come to Rhys' monastery to tell them of Lleu's erratic behavior, in hope he would talk to him. The result of this "talk" was useless, and later Lleu, one of the Beloved, poisoned everyone's food with hemlock, killing everyone, except Rhys who wasn't at dinner.
5. Who said this: "I saw the way you handled yourself out there in the line this morning, and that kender-herding dog of yours is worth its weight in steel."?

Answer: Gerard

The Sheriff said this to Rhys when he prevented a fight in the line. They were following Lleu and making sure he didn't turn other people into the Beloved, as he was (by Mina).
6. Who said this: "I didn't see any of the Beloved when I went through the market this morning and there were none in the Inn, either."?

Answer: Nightshade

Nightshade said this to Rhys when they realized that Rhys brother and the rest of his group were moving out of Solace. Rhys thought that Chemosh was drawing them east, but he didn't know why.
7. Who said this: "What are you doing in my Tower, Lord of Death."?

Answer: Nuitari

Nuitari, the God of the Black Robes, states this question to Chemosh when he finds him stalking his tower under the Blood Sea. Chemosh states he wants his artifacts back, and if he doesn't get them, he will tell all of the other gods about Nuitari's secret.
8. Who said this: '"A kender and a monk of Majere here to rescue me from Chemosh?' ______ gave a bitter laugh."?

Answer: Ariakan

Ariakans says this to Nightshade when he tells him the plan to rescue him. When Ariakan refuses to be rescued, Nightshade takes things into his own hands and tackles him to the floor.
9. Who said this: "So Mina is a disciple of Takhisis."?

Answer: Rhys

This was the first time that Zeboim and Rhys met, and she commanded him to find Mina. When Zeboim asked whether he is knowledgable on the War of Souls, he said no, due to the fact that monks of Majere do not get involved in political battles. She then explained that Mina was Takhisis' slave and she gave her power to do miracles, kill dragons and lead an army of ghosts. Zeboim believed that finding her could be a way to stop Lleu.
10. Who said this: "One could say that the gods have only themselves to blame."?

Answer: Mina

Mina says this to Chemosh when they are having one of their long talks together. He is telling her his plans of taking the Tower of Istar, and he then says the Age of Mortals is long past and humans don't respect them (gods) any more, and Mina retaliates with her line, saying they are to blame.
