2. The first recorded miracle of Jesus is the turning of water into wine. This event happened where?

Answer: wedding feast at Cana

Jesus and His mother, Mary, were attending a wedding at Cana when this miracle happened. It turned out that the feast ran out of wine; upon hearing it, Mary informed Jesus about the situation. At first, Jesus was hesitant of what to do, but as the obedient son that He was, He ordered the servants to fill up all the big jars with water, and prayed. And eventually, water was turned into wine. You can read this story in the book of John 2:1-11 in the Bible.

3. Which dragon-slaying saint's cross was featured on the flag of England and later added to the flag of the United Kingdom?

Answer: Saint George

The 11th-century legend goes that George encountered a village that was being menaced by a dragon that required them to start sending people for it to eat when they ran out of sheep. As George discovered that day, the villagers had sent a princess as the sacrifice.

But George made the sign of the cross and slayed the dragon with his lance. The king of the village offered a reward of wealth to George, but he refused it. That was the legend, but more realistically, George was a 4th-century Roman soldier who protested the emperor's persecution of Christians, and was tortured for his stand.

The Crusaders bore his symbol, a red cross on a white background, and England would later adopt his symbol on their flag. It would still later join the crosses of St. Patrick and Saint Andrew in a composite design for the United Kingdom's flag, the Union Jack.

4. Which person would go to a mosque to worship, according to his professed faith?

Answer: Muhammad Ali

The famous boxer Muhammad Ali converted to Islam in 1961 after attending Nation of Islam meetings and becoming friends with Malcolm X. Ali first converted to the Nation of Islam and later to Sunni Islam. This change would also change his friendship with Malcom X to deteriorate. Since a mosque is a holy place for worship for Muslims, then that would mean Ali would worship in a mosque.
Regarding the other choices, Hawking was an atheist, Gandhi was a Hindu, and Lieberman was a Jew.

Others wanted to try to keep him quiet and told great lies about him, so many that people began to believe them and eventually stoned him to death.

6. On which day of the Christian year are you most likely to hear a congregation singing the hymn "Ride On, Ride On in Majesty!"?

Answer: Palm Sunday

Henry Hart Millman, a priest in the Church of England, wrote "Ride On, Ride On in Majesty" in 1820. It was published in Reginald Heber's "Hymns Written and Adapted to the Weekly Church Service of the Year" in 1827. Heber went on to become the Anglican Bishop of Calcutta.

The words of the hymn describe Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1-17). "Ride on! ride on in majesty! In lowly pomp ride on to die!" It has been set to a variety of hymn tunes. It is regularly appointed to be sung on Palm Sunday because this is the day of the Church Year which recalls Jesus' riding into Jerusalem on an ass.
