Sweetland became the first official head basketball coach in 1910. He coached in 1910 and in 1912. Iddings coached in 1911, and Tigert coached in 1913. Mustaine was the first manager/athletic administrator of the program.

Answer: Basil Hayden

Hayden was a Helms All-American for Kentucky in the 1920-21 season. He averaged 9.7 points per game. He came back to coach the Wildcats to a 3-13 record in 1927.
