Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
Answer:

"Quantum Leap" is an American science fiction series that aired on NBC for five seasons 1989-1993 for a total of 97 episodes.

The opening narration sets the show's premise: Sam Becket time travels by stepping into a particle accelerator and disappearing. He begins each episode by leaping into the bodies of other people (leapees) and delivering his iconic line, 'Oh Boy'.

During each episode, Sam is helped by Al, a hologram, that no one else can see or hear. Sam is compelled to correct whatever went wrong in the leapees' lives. The obscure force that drives Sam to leap is unknown. The monologue was delivered by the co-creator and head writer, Deborah Pratt, who delivers a melancholy and heart-wrenching speech, setting up the blend of empathy, charm, and moral dilemma, as opposed to cosmically important events.
