Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'Turnabout Trump': You have to examine both the victim's (Shadi Smith) and defendant's (Phoenix Wright) hands of cards in order to proceed.

Answer: False

You can examine Shadi's cards without even touching Phoenix's.
2. 'Turnabout Trump': How many lines long is Kristoph Gavin's only testimony?

Answer: Seven

The magic number of this game, Kristoph's testimony goes for seven lines.
3. 'Turnabout Corner': Which case in the first trilogy does this one make callbacks to?

Answer: Rise from the Ashes

Those being, of course:
1. Ema Skye's presence in this game and Phoenix suggesting Apollo bring the 'white powder' left in the office to her.
2. Apollo's reasoning for checking the tailpipe of the victim's car in the garage.
4. 'Turnabout Corner': At what point has the name of the offices changed from "Talent" to "Anything"?

Answer: After Trucy hands their flyer to Alita Tiala

It's still the Talent Agency when Apollo first arrives (which he hadn't realized and came looking for it by the previous name of 'Wright and Co.'), and he is shocked when Trucy hands an updated flyer to Alita (yet to be introduced here):

Trucy: "Uh, um, Miss! Miss!"
???: "...?"
Trucy: "Here, our flyer."
???: "The... Wright Anything Agency?"
Apollo: "A-Anything Agency?"
Trucy: "Yeah! Do you like the new flyer?"
5. 'Turnabout Corner': Why is the case named the way it is?

Answer: Three 'cases' are all meeting at one point.

An actual corner is made when three lines in "space" meet at one point - so all three situations (the noodle stand theft, the panty snatching, and the murder of Pal Meraktis) all coming together in the courtroom give the case its name.
6. 'Turnabout Serenade': What is the discount that Apollo Justice and Trucy Wright get on their concert tickets?

Answer: 20%

It's mentioned at the very start of the case.

Trucy: "Well, I thought Mr. Gavin was really nice! Sending us those tickets at 20% off! They're hard to get a hold of, you know."

Apollo: "When you invite people to a concert it's usually free."
7. 'Turnabout Serenade': When does Daryan Crescend's name on the text box start showing up (as opposed to three question marks)?

Answer: After Trucy says it when she and Apollo investigate in the Wings

Unlike Viola Cadaverini, whose "name" appears the first time someone says it (a nickname in this case since it says 'Violetta' first), Daryan's name doesn't change even when Klavier calls him by it; it waits until later when Trucy tells Apollo.
8. 'Turnabout Succession': Which of these in-between dialogues is the odd one out?

Answer: "...Something inside me... rising... surfacing... ...Something important... lost long ago... it's close now... so close."

All the other options were said by Phoenix while the odd one out was not. In fact, this line was meant to be said by Thalassa Gramarye, who is a juror in this case!
9. 'Turnabout Succession': What was the bluff that Kristoph Gavin was trying to get everyone to focus on when he was accused of poisoning Drew Misham?

Answer: There was no way to know when Drew would use the stamp that killed him.

Apollo's accusation was that Vera Misham's favorite stamp was poisoned with atroquinine to kill her father. Kristoph then says that it was only a coincidence that it was used, making this unable to be premeditated.

HOWEVER, there was no claim of worrying over when, as Klavier points out, therefore meaning it COULD have been coincidental (which it was, given the time it took for it to be used!).
10. 'Turnabout Succession': What are the implications of Kristoph forging the evidence before Zak Gramarye kicked him off the case?

Answer: He would have used it even while going against Klavier.

While discussing the motive of killing Drew, and calling back to the murder in 4-1, Apollo points out that fame would follow whoever could defend Zak successfully, meaning Kristoph (who obviously thinks highly of himself) called for the forged evidence to ensure he wasn't losing. Of course, he did this before he lost the card game with Zak and had Phoenix switched in, so that means he would have been perfectly fine CHEATING against his own brother that whole time if he'd stayed on!
