The Journey of the 501st Trivia Quiz

The first mission the 501st takes on is a droid power station on the planet Mygeeto. Their mission is to acquire a power crystal. Unbeknownst to Ki-Adi Mundi, their Jedi leader on the mission, the crystal is part of a larger and sinister plot.

The following mission is the first space battle. That battle is above Coruscant, helping pave the way for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to rescue Chancellor Palpatine from the clutches of General Grievous.

Led by Aayla Secura, the 501st attack the droid forces on Felucia, after another clone squad went missing after arriving there. It quickly becomes clear why the previous squad was lost. The 501st has to defend themselves from droids, but also the fearsome Acklay that call Felucia home.

After breaking through a droid blockade over Kashyyk, the boys of the 501st, led by Master Yoda, relieve another clone garrison who had been defending Kashyyk. The clones and wookies defend a refinery that is invaluable to the Republic war effort, and with Yoda's help, push the droids back!

The 501st is dispatched to Utapau to engage the droid forces and clear the way for General Kenobi to bring down General Grievous. With Kenobi emerging triumphant, the droid forces break, and the Republic seems to emerge victorious in the Clone War.

Order 66 is given by the newly-appointed Emperor, and the 501st is tasked with eliminating the Jedi at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Darth Vader joins the clone force to ensure no Jedi survive the assault. Once Order 66 is carried out, the rise of the Empire is complete.

The 501st is sent to the volcanic planet of Mustafar, to quell a droid uprising led by the Geonosian, Gizor Delso. Delso attempts to build his own army of droids to fight against the Empire. The 501st lands on Mustafar after breaking through a droid blockade above the planet. After a tense battle, the 501st ends the droid threat to the Empire, and Delso's life in the process.

It wasn't just the droids that attempted to stop the Empire. A new batch of clone troopers was bred to fight against Palpatine's forces. The 501st is sent to Kamino to deal with that threat, too. The clone forces are bolstered by the presence of Boba Fett, whose skills as a bounty hunter prove invaluable in helping put down the clone resistance.

After months of boredom aboard the Death Star, the 501st is called in to quell a prison break. Rebels manage to get their hands on imperial weapons and attempt to flee the station. The 501st pushes the rebels back, and eliminates the Jedi leading the attempted escape.

As punishment for allowing the attempted escape, the 501st are transferred off the Death Star, which ultimately proves to be what saves the squad.

After battling with rebels on the Polis Massa medical center in an attempt to recover stolen Imperial plans, the 501st track the plans to the Tantive IV. The squad are tasked with boarding the ship, locating the plans, and eliminating the rebel leadership, including neutralizing Princess Leia.

Despite their best efforts, the plans fall into rebel hands, and those plans allow the rebels to destroy the Death Star.

After the destruction of the Death Star, the 501st launches a retaliatory strike against the rebels on Yavin 4. They fight their way across the battlefront, and eventually reach the inside of the temple. There, the 501st exacts their revenge, eliminating the rebel leadership.

The final battle for the 501st in "Star Wars: Battlefront II" is fought on Hoth. Titled "Our Finest Hour", it portrays the Battle of Hoth, including the destruction of the rebel shield generator. The campaign in the game ends with the Empire being victorious on Hoth, which differs from the movie, where the Rebel Alliance escapes to fight another day.
