Probably the best known of all the Chinese dynasties, the Ming dynasty was a time of relative peace and prosperity.

This is a part-two series of the history of the Chinese dynasties from 220 AD to 1912 AD. In 1912, China became a republic ending 4000 years of imperial rule.
