He works at their headquarters as an assistant manager. Enid at first assumes he is a cook. Seymour gives Enid the picture from Cook's Chicken, and she uses it in her art project, which later gets removed from the gallery.

2. What time is Enid and Rebecca's graduation?

3. When Enid has her garage sale, she tells a man who wants to buy a doll that it's not for sale. What was the name of the doll?

She also tells a woman that a dress is $500. It's pretty obvious she doesn't really want to sell any of her things. This scene is also quite funny, especially when Rebecca finds a hat and remembers Enid's "little old lady phase".

4. At the graduation, a girl in a wheelchair is giving a speech. She talks about an accident she was in, and mentions that only one other person was hurt in it. What was the name of the other girl who got hurt?

The graduation scene is so funny, especially when those girls come on and start rapping! This scene really demonstrates how different Enid and Rebecca are from the other girls in their school, and shows us how they feel about their peers.

5. What type of film does Seymour tell Dana he likes?

She doesn't agree with him. She says she "can't understand why the fat one has to be so mean to the skinny one". Dana and Seymour seem very different, and although they get on well at first, cracks start to show as the relationship progresses.

6. At the prom, while Todd is chatting to Rebecca, Enid is playing with a fruit. What is it?

The pineappple is just randomly lying on the table near the punch bowl. I'm guessing it is there as part of the decoration. Enid is constantly overlooked by guys when Rebecca is with her - she draws attention to it later in the film. Guys constantly come on to Rebecca, and ignore Enid because they think she is plainer and stranger than her friend.

7. What time is the art show which displays Enid's piece?

She misses it in the end, because she ends up spending the night with Seymour. If she had been there, she may have been able to defend her work and prevent it from being removed from the show.

Enid drinks it anyway, straight out of the bottle. She doesn't like Dana, and although she won't admit it, it's obviously because she is jealous of her relationship with Seymour.

Seymour is played by the wonderful Steve Buscemi, who is my complete idol! The advert makes him sound like a real oddball, obsessing over a woman who may not even have noticed him. It's only when Enid gets to know him that she starts to feel guilty about tricking him into meeting (or not, as it turned out) his mystery woman.

13. After Enid spends the night with Seymour, he calls her and leaves a message on her machine. How many messages are displayed on the machine?

I think we can assume the majority, if not all, are from Seymour. He can't understand why she won't answer him. He has sacrificed his relationship, and possibly his job (after the art show incident) for Enid, and he is now confused and upset that she won't talk to him.

It gets Seymour into trouble at work, because it put the company in a bad light. It's not made clear if he loses his job over it or not, but he definitely gets in serious trouble with his boss.

She seems genuinely quite impressed with his collection, whereas Rebecca seems to think he is sad. We know, however, that Enid has an unusual taste in music, from the opening scene of her dancing round her room to a Bollywood film.

Rebecca shows him Enid's journal, with pictures of how they first met him, which I think is just spiteful. It also seems quite out of character for Rebecca. Although she and Enid are not close any more, she was still her best friend. I'm not sure if she does it to hurt Seymour, Enid, or both of them.

17. Enid tells Norman that the bus line was cancelled a long time ago. How long ago was it cancelled?

Norman always sits at the same bus stop every day, then at the end of the film a bus finally turns up. Enid seems to be the only person who takes the time to speak to him and ask his name.

Enid goes to visit him, and realises that he knows how they met him. She also shows him the rest of her journal which shows how much of a hero she thinks he is. I think this is the last time she sees him, because when we next see her she is getting on the bus that Norman left on earlier in the film.

19. Enid writes a note to leave on Josh's door. What two names does she sign?

The note is really funny, but I don't think it's really suitable to repeat here. It's another example of the way in which the two girls don't really take anything seriously, and the way in which they enjoy making fun of Josh.

A customer asks him for "Eight and a Half", and he mistakes it for "Nine and a Half Weeks". Just a slight difference there!

Melora is the name of the annoying girl they went to school with who thought she was their friend. We see her in the prom scene at the beginning, and in the scene in the cafe where Enid and Rebecca are looking for apartments. It's a funny scene, because Melora is probably exactly the type of girl Seymour's friend was hoping Rebecca would be.

23. Enid draws a picture of Seymour for her art class, but when her teacher asks who it is, she names a celebrity instead. Which celebrity does she say the picture is of?

When asked why she did the picture, she replies "I don't know, I guess I just like Don Knotts". Don Knotts bears more than a passing resemblance to Steve Buscemi, who played Seymour, so there was some clever casting here!
