"Avatar" is a 2009 blockbuster directed by James Cameron. The film is set in the future and is about 2 hours and 40 minutes long. The story revolves around a disabled solider, Jake Sully, who gets the chance to go to the world of Pandora to operate a hybrid "avatar" which resembles the new world's native people, the Na'vi. Humans traveled to Pandora to obtain its valuable mineral, unobtanium. The native Na'vi worship a god that they call Eywa. The Tree of Souls is a network where the Na'vi can communicate with one another. Sigourney Weaver plays Grace Augustine, a scientist who is the leader of the program involving the avatars.
