Fun Trivia
Ah, this is possibly the most confusing part of the game. If you can master this, you've got it made!

We don't prefer one kind of quotation mark over another. Both ' and " are fine, as long as you are consistent throughout the quiz.

Movie titles belong in quotes, unless they are stand-alone, in your quiz title, introduction, questions, answers, and interesting info blurbs.

Fill in the Blank (FITB) answers should never be in quotes.

If a title is stand-alone (often the case in a quiz title or Multiple Choice (MC) answer), the title should not be in quotes. For example, if you ask:
Which of these movies is animated?
Beauty and the Beast
Independence Day
Traffic
The Sixth Sense
Your answers don't need to be in quotes.

However, if there are other words in the answer, the movie title must be in quotes. For example, if you ask:
Which of these is animated, and paired with an actual character?
'Beauty and the Beast', Belle
'The Little Mermaid', Gaston
'Aladdin', Lumiere
'The Lion King', Chip
The movie titles must be in quotes.

Please also note that shortened versions of movie titles are to follow the same rules as the full titles. The following are correct examples, with the full movie titles in parenthesis after:
-Was Susan Sarandon in 'Rocky Horror'? (Rocky Horror Picture Show)
-What color dress did Guy Pearce wear in 'Priscilla'? (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert)
-In what scene of 'NLCV' did the dog appear? (National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation)

Character names should not be in quotes.

Sentence punctuation should fall outside title quotes. Punctuation only belongs within the title quotes if it is part of the title (as for "Snatch.", "When Harry Met Sally...", or "Moulin Rouge!").

Movie titles, TV show titles, song titles, music album titles, etc. must all be in quotes, as per these directions.

Quotations, lyrics, and taglines should be in quotes whether they are stand-alone or not.
