"What You Wish For" is the first track from "Lost and Gone Forever". Along with "Fa-Fa", "What You Wish For" is a good example of what people call Guster's "unusual acoustic sound." Guster's sound is based largely around acoustic guitars, but the band utilizes a wide variety of other instruments that give a unique texture to their music. For example, "Fa-Fa" uses flutes, bongoes, chimes, and horns, and all of the drums on the "Lost and Gone Forever" album are played by hand, not with drumsticks.
