Ex- Yardbirds member, Keith Relf (guitar) and Jane Relf (vocals), formed a band called "Renaissance". They had two albums, "Renaissance" (1969), and "Illusions"(1970). Playing guitar on the latter album was Michael Dunford. After Renaissance broke up Dunford helped re-form the band with all new members including Annie Haslam on vocals. He then appeared as a guest guitarist on the new band's first album, "Prologue" (1972) and wrote most of the songs with lyricist Betty Thatcher.
