Fun Trivia
Opinions
do not belong in quiz questions: they must deal with verifiable facts. The question 'True or False: Madonna is a better singer than JLo?' belongs in Music discussion forum over in the FT Community Forums, but not in the Music category of Quizzyland.

Opinions in blurbs
and in a quiz's introduction are acceptable as long as they are reasonable, and not outrageous or inflammatory.

Repeat questions
if at all possible, please try to avoid repeating questions which are already in another quiz, by playing a few quizzes in your category beforehand.

Linked questions
every question must stand on its own two feet, don't link one question to a previous question, such as 'Which member of the band sang the song in Question 4?'

Scrambles
anagrams or scrambles are no longer accepted in the Music category.

FITB word limit
answers for fill in the blank questions which are longer than 5 words are no longer accepted.

Date Stamped Questions
questions stamped with a month and/or year such as "as of January 2003" are no longer accepted.

Album tracks
questions which ask how many tracks are on a CD, or which ask for the track number of a particular song, are no longer accepted.

Who's her best friend
and similar questions which are qualitative are no longer accepted.

Their "favorite"
food or breakfast cereal, or how long they take to eat a Subway Sandwich, or their favorite color or their favorite drink, or their favorite movie, and similar trivia about an individual in the music industry are no longer acceptable, as authors and editors are being buried in correction notes.

Their height or weight, or the color of their eyes or hair
or the number of tattoos they have, or the number of earrings, or the color of the shoes they wore, or the color of their clothing, and other similar personal questions ... these trivia questions are no longer accepted.

Questions about money or contract values
or remuneration, or prizemonies or endorsements earned by a musician or singer, are no longer accepted as quiz questions.
