1. What's NOT true about how the save system works in the 3DS?

Answer: Link gets to keep his expendable items and rupees when restarting the cycle

The first thing you notice is that there are now three save slots instead of two. There were only two in the North American N64 version so players could quick save at owl statues. Speaking of which, you now need to interact with either owl or newly added quill statues to permanently save your progress as going back to the Dawn of the First day doesn't save your game until the end. I found that out the hard way. Link still loses all his expendable items, however.

The Skull Kid injures Koume and leaves her in the woods. If you follow a monkey through the woods you will come across Koume, desperately asking for a red potion. Link must exit the Woods of Mystery to a little store standing on a tower. Upon entering the store, he meets Kotake and informs her of her sister's injury. Kotake gives Link a red potion (you also earn a new bottle!) in which he must take to Koume. Entering the woods again and following the maze that leads to Koume, Link talks to the injured witch, who impolitely asks for the red potion. After drinking, she "feels the energy flow", soon returning to the Swamp Boat Office and offering you a ride on a boat for free.

ChuChus are the gelatinous creatures that once defeated, will drop the item seen in their belly. They come in different colors in the game; such as red, green, yellow and blue. The red drops either a heart or a green rupee, the green drops a magic jar, the yellow drops ten arrows, and the blue is empty; its purpose is to be frozen using ice arrows so Link can climb it. Like Deku Babas, these enemies respawn after being killed after a short period of time.

This is the only game in the "Zelda" series that has a time limit upon it. To return to the beginning of the three day cycle Link must play the Song of Time on the Ocarina of Time. When Link returns to the beginning of the three days, he loses all rupees and items (such as bombs and arrows), although he does retain specific dungeon items. Unless the individual dungeons are complete, all dungeon progress is lost as well when he travels back in time. For extra challenge, there are players who are able to beat all four dungeons and the final boss in one three day cycle, although this requires the player to be very intimately acquainted with the game.
