From Quiz ""Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge"

Rhythm Heaven Trivia Questions

1. Where do the "Staff Credits" take place?

From Quiz
"Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Cafe

The "Staff Credits" go through all of the characters in the game. Some of the funniest, in my opinion, are Fork and (I'm quoting here) "Uh... These guys?" You even find out who the barista is, but I won't spoil that for you.

2. What is the only minigame to appear in Remix 10 but no other remixes?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: Airboarder

Airboarder is the credits minigame, and is not included in the regular array of 50. It is included in Remix 10, though. Munchy Monk is in Remix 10, but also in other remixes. It later became an endless game in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". Power Calligraphy was not in the DS version of this game at all! It was in Rhythm Tengoku and came back in "Rhythm Heaven Fever" as a bonus game. Toy car is a rhythm toy introduced in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". It does not appear in the DS version.

3. In Built to Scale, you are told you must flick. When is this?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Games 1-5

Answer: When the sound "Sol" is played

It flows much more when the rise in the sound ends at sol. If a person said "FLICK!" in the song, it wouldn't sound right, nor would it sound right if it just went "Do, re, mi, fa!"

4. What are the basic controls in the rhythm games?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: Flicking and Tapping

You are told flicking is the main control in the game at the very beginning. If you make it to the second game, you'll find out that flicking isn't the only thing you do in the game. You have to tap too. Sometimes you'll have to push a button, but this is only in one rhythm game, and you flick and tap in it as well. You do touch icons, but only on the different menus.

5. How many remixes contain games from outside their column?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Three

Remixes 8, 9, and 10 contain games from out of their column. This changed from "Rhythm Heaven" where Remix 7 also contained other games.

6. Which minigame opens and closes Remix 10?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: Karate Man

Karate Man originally debuted in "Rhythm Tengoku," and it is an important and highlighted game in the DS version. It went on to have not one but two minigames in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". Packing Pests opens and closes the RHF Remix 10, and was not introduced until "Rhythm Heaven Fever" came out. Glee club opens many remixes, but not Remix 10. Love lab does not open any remixes, but it closes Remix 4.

7. When I finished Built to Scale, it said try again, but it gave me a compliment as well. What did it say?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Games 1-5

Answer: Way to Nail the Ending!

All the compliments you get at the end of a rhythm game, if you did well, will be specific to what happened in the rhythm game. The only time you'd get a general compliment like the incorrect answers is if you got superb on a remix, and then, it would say "That was really great!" to be specific.

8. What is the first rhythm game called?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: Built to Scale

You could have this question figured out even if you only played the demo from the Nintendo Channel on the Wii. The demo consisted of the first three games: Built to Scale, Glee Club, and Fillbots. If you have the game and got this wrong, you must've gotten confused with Glee Club and Rhythm Rally, which are also in the game. Zing isn't a real rhythm game. It's just made up.

9. What minigame starts off and wraps up Remix 10?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Packing Pests

Packing Pests is a minigame about putting candy into boxes, swatting spiders, and working overtime. A lot of overtime. Karate Man appears in "Rhythm Heaven Fever," but opened and closed "Rhythm Heaven" Remix 10. Double Date 2 is an actual minigame. Big Rock Finish appears only in "Rhythm Heaven" and ironically doesn't close out its remix 10.

10. In the description of Remix 9, it warns you about audio cues for one minigame. Which one is it?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: Space Soccer

Space Soccer is a minigame where you tap on the beat, and flick when your character decides to kick the ball too high. It's pretty easy - if you can see the ball coming at you. Remix 9 has parts where it cuts to when you already have the ball. Needless to say, it's pretty tough. Exhibition Match is another game where visuals are helpful, but it debuted in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". That means it couldn't have been in the DS version of the game. Moai Doo-Wop is a minigame about singing statues on Easter Island, and it is included in Remix 9. It does not require audio cues in advance, however. Flockstep is a play on words derived from Lockstep. Flockstep debuted in "Rhythm Heaven Fever," but Lockstep was in the DS version. Lockstep is not in Remix 9.

11. UGH! The little people in Glee Club won't hush! How do I make them shut their yap?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Games 1-5

Answer: Tap and hold on the touch screen

It clearly says, "tap to shut your yap!" in practice and in the game. You do have to hold on the touch screen to keep your yap closed, though.

12. What do you have to do to get to the file selection screen?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: Flick an object up

When you get to the title screen, there's a little dot that says "touch me" in a speech bubble. When you touch it, it will grow and show something else in it, like the Notes or Dog Ninja. Then, if you flick it up hard enough, you'll be presented with the file selection screen.

13. What is Power Calligraphy?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Bonus Game

Power Calligraphy is a bonus game in which you write in Japanese. I personally think it's awesome. It has an end. It is not in the grid of 50. It is only a one-player game.

14. What is the theme of Remix 8?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: It's fast!

Remix 8 is supposed to be the fastest remix in the game. It has many minigames, some of which only require one tap. The combos that the game throws at you are pretty brutal, though. For example, the game may give you a game where there is a resting period after you tap. Then it switches to a more intense game during your resting period.

15. Who welcomes you when you start a new game?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: The Blue Frog from Frog Hop

At the beginning the blue frog welcomes you, sends you to flicking practice, then talks to you a bit, then sends you to the game selection screen. The blue frog also says "Thank you, verrrry much!" at the end of the credits. As for the other frogs, they are real, but they belong in Frog Hop as well. The dog is real and belongs in Airboarder.

16. What is the song in the credits game called?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: "Dreams of Our Generation"

"Dreams of Our Generation" plays during Night Walk, the credits game. In "Rhythm Heaven," "That's Paradise" plays during Airboarder, its credits game.

17. Which minigame is one of the two that gets REALLY fast at the beginning and the end of Remix 8?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: Rhythm Rally

Rhythm Rally and Dog Ninja get really fast at the beginning and the end of Remix 8. Both of them require flicking, and it really pushes you to your limit. I myself can barely flick fast enough to keep up! Rhythm Rockets first appeared in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". It is a rather slow game. Consequently, it does not appear in the DS Remix 8. Rhythmove Dungeon is an endless game, and endless games don't show up in remixes. We don't want endless remixes...(Okay, some of us do, but not the majority!) Rhythm Test is a separate mode that first debuts in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". It appears only in Remix 10 of RHF, and not at all in the DS version.

18. Is something up? The intro music for Fillbots sounded so similar... would you have a clue where it's from?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Games 1-5

Answer: Built to Scale

It's simple really. Fillbots and Built to Scale both take place in factories. Why shouldn't they both have the techno sounding intro music?

19. How can you reset the game?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: Pressing L+R+START+SELECT

You'd probably only want to reset the game to change the file you're playing on. If you did want to reset, you'd probably press L, R, START, and SELECT instead of turning off the DS and turning it back on.

20. What is the theme of Remix 5?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Prehistoric

The slugger gets a hilarious leopard skin top, horseshoe crabs swim by when you're fishing, and seals are brown and rolling around in dirt. Somehow, they still continue their hobbies performed in the present.

21. What objects/animals appear constantly in Remix 7?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: Clouds

Remix 7 has a lot of clouds. It is a lighthearted guitar tune that is fun to play. It is the first remix that features games from out of its column. There are no remixes that have the other answers, but Double Date 2 from "Rhythm Heaven Fever" takes place on a farm and has many cows and sheep in the background.

22. Ok, I'm lost. Who am I controlling in Fan Club?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Games 1-5

Answer: A monkey

The girl in Fan Club has a name- Pop Singer. Her fan club is strange however, it is comprised of monkeys- one of which you control, that clap and jump along to her song.

23. When does the café open?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: When the first game is cleared

You have to work a little to get the café open, so you'd need to beat Built to Scale, the first rhythm game. If you had to beat twenty games, or all fifty, that'd just be cruel.

24. What's the color scheme of Remix 9?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Black and Red

Remix 9 has this color scheme and its description says it is good to dance to. I vehemently disagree, but some people MIGHT agree...

25. What are the first words heard in Remix 7?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I suppose!"

While the music itself has no lyrics, the first minigame is Fan Club. This game requires action based on verbal cues. The developers added these cues in on top of the music. "Time to get things started!" is never heard in any "Rhythm Heaven" game up to and not including "Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus". "3, 2, 1, GO!" is never heard in the same games as above, but it is implied at the beginning of Freeze Frame when the stoplight turns from red to yellow to green. "So spread your wings now" is part of the song "Dreams of Our Generation," which is the credits song for "Rhythm Heaven Fever". The credits game is called Night Walk.

26. What are the two things you can read in the café once it opens?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: Greetings and The Secret of Flicking

It's obvious that there would be some kind of welcome wagon pamphlet, but what about the second thing? It'd probably be something important. Flicking? Rhythm Games? Getting Medals? Having Fun? Players new to the game may have trouble flicking, so The Secret of Flicking would be a good choice to put in the game, and it was what they put in the game.

27. Who speaks at the beginning of Remix 1?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Little Monkey

The little monkey greets you and then throws little golf balls at your feet. Mandrill, on the other hand, beams large ones at your knees... ouch.

28. What "kind of feel" does Remix 6 have, according to its description?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven DS Remix" 5-10

Answer: Spacey

Remix 6 is themed for outer space, much like Remix 7 from "Rhythm Heaven Fever". This is appropriate, as it contains the game Space Soccer. The Lockstep people wear crazy headsets and are on a bright green background. Karate Joe even grew some hair!

29. What type of game is every fifth game?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven" Basics

Answer: A Remix

If every fifth game were called one of the incorrect answers, it would be very odd. Every fifth game is actually called a Remix because they mix up the different games featured in the same column of games, unless it is in the seventh column or higher. Then any game may appear in the remix, along with the ones in the same column.

30. What is the theme of the graphics in Remix 3?

From Quiz "Rhythm Heaven Fever" Challenge

Answer: Cooking!

Remix 3 has a culinary theme, and it includes Mr. Game and Watch as a chef. You play badminton with a spatula and play with a doll and a punching bag in a kitchen. When you put it like that, it sounds kind of ridiculous, but it's fun anyway.
