Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the only minigame to appear in Remix 10 but no other remixes?

Answer: Airboarder

Airboarder is the credits minigame, and is not included in the regular array of 50. It is included in Remix 10, though.
Munchy Monk is in Remix 10, but also in other remixes. It later became an endless game in "Rhythm Heaven Fever".
Power Calligraphy was not in the DS version of this game at all! It was in Rhythm Tengoku and came back in "Rhythm Heaven Fever" as a bonus game.
Toy car is a rhythm toy introduced in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". It does not appear in the DS version.
2. Which minigame opens and closes Remix 10?

Answer: Karate Man

Karate Man originally debuted in "Rhythm Tengoku," and it is an important and highlighted game in the DS version. It went on to have not one but two minigames in "Rhythm Heaven Fever".
Packing Pests opens and closes the RHF Remix 10, and was not introduced until "Rhythm Heaven Fever" came out.
Glee club opens many remixes, but not Remix 10.
Love lab does not open any remixes, but it closes Remix 4.
3. In the description of Remix 9, it warns you about audio cues for one minigame. Which one is it?

Answer: Space Soccer

Space Soccer is a minigame where you tap on the beat, and flick when your character decides to kick the ball too high. It's pretty easy - if you can see the ball coming at you. Remix 9 has parts where it cuts to when you already have the ball. Needless to say, it's pretty tough.
Exhibition Match is another game where visuals are helpful, but it debuted in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". That means it couldn't have been in the DS version of the game.
Moai Doo-Wop is a minigame about singing statues on Easter Island, and it is included in Remix 9. It does not require audio cues in advance, however.
Flockstep is a play on words derived from Lockstep. Flockstep debuted in "Rhythm Heaven Fever," but Lockstep was in the DS version. Lockstep is not in Remix 9.
4. Which of these minigames is included in Remix 9?

Answer: Shoot-'Em-Up

Shoot-'Em-Up makes an appearance in Remix 9 with groups of three enemies at a time. As the name implies, you get to shoot them with a laser.
Shrimp Shuffle debuted in "Rhythm Heaven Fever" and is about dancing shrimp. Since it was released after the DS version, it is not in Remix 9.
Blue Birds is a minigame about bluebirds in boot camp. You peck your feet (Tap-Tap-Tap!) and stretch out your neck (Tap-FLICK!). It doesn't show up in Remix 9, however.
Beat Machine is a rhythm toy that is interesting at first glance, but has simple controls and your only reward is a beat. Rhythm toys do not appear in remixes.
5. What is the theme of Remix 8?

Answer: It's fast!

Remix 8 is supposed to be the fastest remix in the game. It has many minigames, some of which only require one tap. The combos that the game throws at you are pretty brutal, though. For example, the game may give you a game where there is a resting period after you tap. Then it switches to a more intense game during your resting period.
6. Which minigame is one of the two that gets REALLY fast at the beginning and the end of Remix 8?

Answer: Rhythm Rally

Rhythm Rally and Dog Ninja get really fast at the beginning and the end of Remix 8. Both of them require flicking, and it really pushes you to your limit. I myself can barely flick fast enough to keep up!
Rhythm Rockets first appeared in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". It is a rather slow game. Consequently, it does not appear in the DS Remix 8.
Rhythmove Dungeon is an endless game, and endless games don't show up in remixes. We don't want endless remixes...(Okay, some of us do, but not the majority!)
Rhythm Test is a separate mode that first debuts in "Rhythm Heaven Fever". It appears only in Remix 10 of RHF, and not at all in the DS version.
7. What objects/animals appear constantly in Remix 7?

Answer: Clouds

Remix 7 has a lot of clouds. It is a lighthearted guitar tune that is fun to play. It is the first remix that features games from out of its column. There are no remixes that have the other answers, but Double Date 2 from "Rhythm Heaven Fever" takes place on a farm and has many cows and sheep in the background.
8. What are the first words heard in Remix 7?

Answer: "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I suppose!"

While the music itself has no lyrics, the first minigame is Fan Club. This game requires action based on verbal cues. The developers added these cues in on top of the music.
"Time to get things started!" is never heard in any "Rhythm Heaven" game up to and not including "Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus".
"3, 2, 1, GO!" is never heard in the same games as above, but it is implied at the beginning of Freeze Frame when the stoplight turns from red to yellow to green.
"So spread your wings now" is part of the song "Dreams of Our Generation," which is the credits song for "Rhythm Heaven Fever". The credits game is called Night Walk.
9. What "kind of feel" does Remix 6 have, according to its description?

Answer: Spacey

Remix 6 is themed for outer space, much like Remix 7 from "Rhythm Heaven Fever". This is appropriate, as it contains the game Space Soccer. The Lockstep people wear crazy headsets and are on a bright green background. Karate Joe even grew some hair!
10. In Remix 6, the game shows clips from one game, but you don't have to do anything! Which game is this?

Answer: Space Soccer

Space Soccer is used to set up Lockstep. Unfortunately, if you are just a tiny bit early, it counts your tap as a kick on Space Soccer, leaving your Lockstep guy to get slapped in the face. This is a very large obstacle in the way of getting a Perfect rating. There are sections where you do control the Space Soccer monkey, though.
