1. In 1984, Oasis told us they were how much of the world away? Change a letter from "calf" to find out.

Answer: Half

Although this song didn't get into the UK top 40 when it was released as a single, it is well known as the theme tune to TV show "The Royle Family", associated with the show so much that when star and scriptwriter Caroline Aherne died in 2016, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds played it as a tribute to her.
2. Change a letter to discover which Annie was the subject of a 1977 Woody Allen movie.

Answer: Hall

Annie Hall was played by Diane Keaton, alongside Allen playing her ex lover who is seeking the reasons their relationship ended. The movie won four Oscars, including one for Keaton as Best Actress and one for Allen as Best Director.
3. In aid of Amnesty International, the Secret Policeman's what was first held in 1979? Change a letter to get the answer.

Answer: Ball

A successor the Monty Python organised shows in aid of Amnesty ("A Poke In The Eye" (1976) and "The Mermaid Frolics" (1977)), "The Secret Policeman's Ball" again featured John Cleese, Michael Palin and Terry Jones, but also added stars such as Peter Cook, Rowan Atkinson and Billy Connolly alongside music stars such as Tom Robinson and Pete Townshend.

In 1981, it was followed by "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball."
4. Change a letter to get a word that can go in front of "dog" or "frog" to give an animal, but after "red" to give a drink.

5. In "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers ", change a letter to discover the partner of Skull.

Answer: Bulk

Farkas "Bulk" Bulkmeier is the larger and dominant member of the pair, often leaving Eugene "Skull" Skullovitch behind in his thinking. Paul L. Schrier II played Bulk for six years and was the longest serving original cast member in the TV show.
6. Change a letter to give the surname of renowned clarinettist Acker.

Answer: Bilk

Mr. Acker Bilk is quite probably the most famous clarinettist ever, thanks to his 1962 hit "Stranger On The Shore" which spent almost a year in UK charts and was the first single of the modern Billboard Hot 100 by a British artist to hit number one in USA.
7. Which Harvey became the first openly gay public official in Californian history in 1978? Change a letter to find out.

Answer: Milk

Milk was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1978 and killed the same year, along with Mayor George Moscone by Dan White, who was also a city supervisor. Milk's story is brilliantly told in the movie "Milk" (2008), starring Sean Penn.
8. Change a letter to find the correct term for the seminal fluid of fish.

Answer: Milt

Milt is the fluid containing sperm that fish spray onto the roe or eggs of the female. It is also used to refer to the male genitalia of fish, which when containing sperm is a food delicacy in many cultures, especially Russia, Japan and Sicily where it is used as a topping for pasta dishes.
9. The first four solo albums by Peter Gabriel were called "Peter Gabriel", so the cover images are used to differentiate between them. Change a letter to get the alternative title to his third album.

Answer: Melt

The albums, in order are "Car" (1977), "Scratch" (1978), "Melt" (1980) and "Security" (1982). Thankfully his fifth album actually had a title, "So". "Games Without Frontiers" and "Biko" both appeared on "Melt".
10. What a journey we've had. From baby animal, to adult animal and now change a letter to see what became of that cute little calf.

Answer: Meat

Mmm mmm meat. Now you're talking. We'll have some steak, a lot of sausages, some jerky, a bit of ground beef, maybe make some oxtail soup, but those prairie oysters are all yours.
Or, belt will work as the answer. We had that hide soaked, tanned and crusted and now use the cute little calf to hold our pants up.
Actually I think he grew up to be large enough to manage to be both answers.
