Eponine sings this song as she is wandering the empty streets of Paris, thinking about her one true love.
2. Who is the singer of "On my Own" singing about?

Answer: Marius

Eponine is, of course singing about Marius. She loves him, but he, sadly, is in love with Cosette, Valjean's "daughter".
3. What is the first line of "On my Own"? (This is including the intro at the beginning).

Answer: And now I'm all alone again

"Sometimes I walk alone at night" is the first line in the second, faster verse", "On my own, pretending he's beside me" is the first line sung when the song gets slower and "I love him" is one of the last lines of the song.

In the line "...and although I know that he is blind, still I say there's a way for us...", Eponine is saying that even though Marius does not recognise her love for him, she still thinks there's a chance for them to be together. Aww...
