Answer: Alastrarra

Elminster met Iymbryl Alastrarra in the woods surrounding the elven capital, while the elf was fighting ruukha (hobgoblins). Iymbryl then asked Elminster to take the kiira to his family in Cormanthor. The kiira gave Elminster the ability to change his shape into that of Iymbryl in the hopes of easy passage into Cormanthor.

2. What monster did Elminster encounter in the woods that he could NOT use magic against?

Answer: magekiller

The magekiller was specifically designed to absorb magic, making the monster stronger. Therefore, Elminster was forced to use a knife to attempt to kill it.

3. Which part (or parts) of the moon elf's anatomy was the most sensitive, according to what Elminster had read?

Answer: the palms of the hands and the tips of the ears

Licking the palms and playfully biting the tips of the ears drove the elves to the height of passion. At one point, Elminster found it useful to put into practice.

Answer: the Srinshee

The Srinshee guarded the treasures of the Vault of Ages. She knew the history of every treasure in the vault, and she passed that information on to Elminster, so that she and the Coronal could judge Elminster's character.

Answer: Symrustar Auglamyr

Symrustar was very manipulative. She believed that Elminster's spells would be very interesting.

The Masked gave Elminster a human form again, on the condition that he serve the Masked without question.

The Starym was the oldest family in Cormanthor, and believed that humans were no better than beasts. Llombaerth sought to undermine the creation of the mythal to attempt to keep humans from being allowed into Cormanthor.

10. Who almost set the mythal to kill all non-elves attempting to enter Cormanthor?

Answer: Uldreiyn Starym

Uldreiyn destroyed the spirit of one of the elves around the circle, inhabiting that body, and attempting to set the mythal to kill anyone not an elf upon entering the elven city. Fortunately Elminster noticed and, with some help, prevented the Starym family from ruining the mythal.
