1. At Faldor's Farm, Garion saw a man on a horse, that had no shadow. He later finds out that his name is Asharak. What is another name for Asharak?

Answer: Chamdar

His other name is revealed when he and Belgarath meet in Arendia, just a bit after the introduction between Mandorallen and the rest of the group.

2. What is the name of the girl who found herself in the company of Garion and Co.?

Answer: Ce'Nedra

After escaping from her father's palace, Ce'Nedra entered a world of sorcery that she didn't believe in.

3. Just before Garion and Co. met Mandorallen, some creatures attacked them. What are these creatures known as?

Answer: Algroths

When they're aware that the Algroths are there, Lelldorin suggests they go to Elgon's Tor. The Algroths retreat but come back. This is where Mandorallen comes into the story. He fights off the Algroths and is part of the prophecy.

Delvor knows Silk and he offered them all a place to stay - for a price. We find out that Silk cost him a fortune.

Garion burns Chamdar to death when his anger makes him use the power of which he had been unaware. Polgara tells him that he can now know his true name, Belgarion, and that the power will be with him forever. He initially rejects this, and swears that he will never use it again.

When Maas touches Garion's amulet, he drops dead. When Salmissra summons Issa to protect her from Polgara, Issa awakes Maas from his "slumber" to reveal the truth.

We know that the thing they're searching for is the Orb of Aldur. We later find out that Zedar used a child to escape with the Orb. The Orb never harms an innocent.

Belgarath was just a boy when Aldur found him. Belgarath first discovered he had certain powers of sorcery when he willed a rock to move. Polgara is Belgarath's only living daughter, as his other daughter, Belderan, died years and years ago.

Answer: A snake

Polgara came to Salmissra's palace, with Barak, to rescue Garion. Issa made her spare Salmissra's life, so Polgara made her immortal. But she had to live as a snake.

At Tolnedra, we meet Ran Borune XXIII and his daughter Princess Ce'Nedra. Ce'Nedra is part Dryad.
