When Septimus was in the Young Army he was known as Boy 412. He finds out that his name is Septimus at the end of "Magyk". Aunt Zelda calls upon the moon to see who his family is.

Jenna is the daughter of the dead queen Cerys. Milo Banda is her father. Jenna is actually not the sister of Simon, Joe Joe, Sam, Nicko, and Septimus, because Sara and Silas are not her real parents.

Septimus was the only Apprentice to ever come back from a Queste. He only completed the Queste with the help of Jenna and Septimus and later on Nicko and Snorri.
