1. What was the bridge, that Jermayan and Ancaladar created to cross the Angarussa River, made of?

Answer: stone

The bridge needed to be strong enough for cavalry and heavy carts to cross, which leaves out ice. In the end, the bridge was made of stone and looked "intrusive."

2. What Elemental Creature did Cilarnen summon?

Answer: Salamander

Cilarnen wasn't sure if the spell was going to work, but in the end, he managed to gain all of the Elemental's power, which was very useful later in the book.

3. What two words did King Andoreniel utter when Idalia questioned him during his recovery?

Answer: Tokens, Council Chambers

Idalia wanted to know how to summon all of the ancient alliances so she asked Andoreniel, who was too weak from the Shadow's Kiss to make a full response.

Since the Crystal Spiders have no sense of direction, they could not have told or imagined to Vestakia that the last enclave was in the south. Vestakia figured this out through her visions of her father's memories.
