Donat was in "Monte Cristo" and "39 Steps" (by Hitchcock) and had a supporting role in "Private Life" (which starred Charles Laughton). He won for "Chips", however ... beating Clark Gable's Rhett Butler in the process.
2. Which of these actors starred in "Lost Horizon", "Tale of Two Cities" and "Prisoner of Zenda"?

Answer: Ronald Colman

Colman, a popular leading man, starred in all three. Huston, who had a fine career, may be best-remembered for his role in "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" (with Humphrey Bogart as Fred C. Dobbs). Brent was a popular leading man who starred in "The Spiral Staircase" (among other movies). Beutel is best-known for his role in "The Outlaw" (with Jane Russell).
