Harold and Kumar Trivia Quiz

Answer: Better luck tomorrow!

Harold had already had a really bad day at work. The Extreme Punks just seemed to keep showing up at the worst times to torment him. He was trying to get a spot right in front of the apartments when they pulled up and stole it. He had to park a few blocks away and walk. Sidenote: "Better Luck Tomorrow" was a movie John Cho had been in before filming "Harold and Kumar".

It was an inside joke on the set. They talked about it in the commentary as well.

Answer: Maria

Harold had a thing for Maria. They lived in the same set of apartments. They would often be on the elevator at the same time. Harold would have a smooth conversation all planned out. When he actually got on the elevator with her, he would freeze up and forget to even push the button.

Answer: Cheetah

We heard in a news announcement that a cheetah escaped. After their car was stolen, they ran across the cheetah. The cheetah came up to Harold because of the beef jerkey in his pocket. They got the cheetah calmed down and decided to ride him. It would have worked if the cheetah hadn't taken them a few miles in the wrong direction.

Answer: He got a raccoon bite.

Kumar had to pull over for a restroom break and left the car door open. A raccoon slipped into the back seat. Later on it went up front and bit Harold in the neck. Harold started flipping out and insisted he had rabies. Kumar had to take him to the emergency room to be checked out.

Answer: Neil Patrick Harris

They picked up Neil Patrick Harris off the side of the road. He had been dumped off after partying a little too hard. After getting lost, they stopped at a convenience store for directions. When they came back out, Neil Patrick Harris was peeling out of the parking lot in their car.

Answer: He licked Harold's face.

Harold was knocked out and woke to Kumar licking his face. He was pretty grossed out. Kumar explained that he had been trying to wake him for a while and was running out of options. Sidenote: John Cho thought it would be funny so he sprayed his entire face with bug repellant. Kal Penn was unaware of this until they filmed the scene and he licked John's face. You can see him a few seconds later spitting on the ground.

Answer: "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips

The Extreme Punks had been giving Harold and Kumar a hard time throughout the entire movie. Later that night, they ran into the Punks playing hackey sack in a parking lot with their keys on the hood. It was just too easy a way to get revenge. They took off down the road in the Extreme Punks SUV. They found the tape labeled Extreme Mix. It was full of a lot old pop love songs though.

Answer: Cherry Hill

Harold drove offroad and they escaped in the hang glider that was on top of the stolen SUV. The officer pulled up and found the contraband Kumar left behind in the car, but it was blamed on the Extreme Punks who owned the vehicle. Sidenote: There was a "blooper" in this scene.

When they went offroad it was late at night. When they jumped with the glider it was morning. The police were behind them on the road and pulled up right after they jumped, so not too much time had passed.

Answer: Neil Patrick Harris

When they finally got to White Castle, they found Kumar had spent all his money earlier in the night. Harold realized his cash had all been swiped from his wallet. They had no idea how they would pay for their meal, but Neil Patrick Harris popped up from the back of the restaurant. Once he sobered up he felt bad about stealing their car.

He paid for their meal and for the stains he left in the car.

Answer: Amsterdam

Harold and Maria were on the elevator again. After everything he had been through during the night, he finally plucked up the courage to talk to her. She was very interested in Harold. Even though she was leaving for Amsterdam, she said they would get together when she got back. Harold, who was grinning widely, went back upstairs to tell Kumar. Kumar decided they should leave and go find her in Amsterdam, thus ending the movie.
