Answer: The Manhattan Trust Bank

In this movie, Dalton Russell (played by Clive Owen) along with his accomplices, rob the Manhattan Trust Bank, but Keith Frazier (played by Denzel Washington) knows that Dalton has planned the heist to perfection. Frazier is a hostage negotiator for the NYPD, and though he tries to stop Russell and save the hostages, he always feels that the criminal is one step ahead.

In order to prevent their cover from being blown, the robbers use a van disguised as a paint company truck and painters' uniforms to simply arrive at the bank and set up their equipment without being bothered. Before the heist begins, one member of the group disables the video cameras in the lobby using infrared lights that aren't visible to the naked eye.

It isn't until later when everyone in the bank is forced to wear matching suits.

In order to remain anonymous to the hostages, Dalton and his accomplices refer to each other as Steve, Stevie, Steve-O, and other variations of the name Steve. During the heist all of the accomplices take shifts. Some of them watch the hostages while other perform duties in the back room involving Dalton's hiding place. All of the accomplices end up leaving the building with the hostages, and no one finds out who they are.

In order to find out what the criminals are plotting, Frazier and the other officers plant bugs in pizza boxes and deliver them to the bank.
Meanwhile the owner of the bank, Arthur Case, has heard the news of the robbery at his bank and although he is forced to sit back and not interfere, he hires Madeleine White (Jodie Foster) to look into it and prevent the criminals from entering a single safety deposit box that is of great value to him.

At one point in the film, Dalton walks up to the boy (who he has separated from the hostages) and talks to him about his video game system. Dalton takes a turn at the violent 'Grand Theft Auto-esque' game that the boy was playing. When Detective Frazier is allowed into the bank under the supervision of the captors, the boy is with his father in one of the offices.

After the criminals take the pizzas, one sets up an Ipod next to the pizza boxes and plays a copy of the previous Albanian President's speeches. In order to find this out, Detective Frazier plays the recording over a sound system and has a man from the crowd identify the language being spoken.

He identifies it as Albanian, but he doesn't speak the language; his ex-wife and her parents do. Frazier has the ex-wife called and she agrees to translate it as long as her parking tickets are paid for her. Frazier does this, and realizes that the criminals know exactly what the cops are planning.

Another project that the criminals work on is opening safe deposit box #392, which belongs to the bank's owner, Arthur Case. Inside, Dalton finds important papers proving that Case was involved with the Nazis in World War II as well as flawless diamonds and a ring. Madeleine White manages to enter the bank to talk to Dalton, but she doesn't succeed in retrieving the box.

Although the captors shoot one of the hostages in front of a video camera (for the cops to see), it is later revealed that it was a hoax created in order for the criminals to get more time. When Detective Frazier realizes that they've been bugged as well, the cops enter the building and Dalton tosses out tear gas. All of the hostages and criminals escape through the front door, and this allows the criminals to get away without being caught. Dalton is nowhere to be found, and there's no way to find any evidence.

Answer: Juicy Fruit

It isn't until the case is closed that Detective Frazier discovers that box 392 is missing from all of the bank's records. He obtains a warrant and opens the box to find that the ring has been left behind, as well as a pack of Juicy Fruit, which was offered to him by Dalton on his walk through the bank. Madeleine White also discovers that Case was working for the Nazis, and he hired her to protect his name.

Although Dalton continues with the incriminating evidence, Madeleine agrees to keep the secret because of the money she has earned and her policy to not reveal any secrets that she learns.

Just like he said he would, Dalton walks right out the front door of the bank, and he even bumps into Detective Frazier on the way out! Dalton has been hiding in a secret compartment created behind the store room in the basement of the bank. Although Dalton escapes with the incriminating evidence and the diamonds (which is what he came for in the first place), he leaves the ring behind in the safe deposit box with his gum wrappers.

He also leaves a single diamond in Detective Frazier's jacket pocket, and everybody, except the real bad guy, Arthur Case, benefits from the heist.
