Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Annie explains why the Dalmatian is the symbol for the firehouse. What does she say?

Answer: The first organized fire department was on the border or Dalmatia and Sardinia in 642.

Annie claimed that it was either a Dalmatian or a sardine.
2. How did Annie describe growing up in Waterford?

Answer: Central High and matinees at the Bijou Theater.

Sounds titillating!
3. What did Joe play with when sitting on Annie's porch swing?

Answer: a football

And he said he thought the swing's creaking noise was a lovely sound.
4. What is Waterford's team mascot?

Answer: Huskies

'Go you Huskies!'
5. What does Joe tell Annie is the essence of his script?

Answer: It's about a man who gets a second chance.

It's funny how the movie gets built up in the minds of the cast and crew, but the real thing seems so inanely silly when they're filming it at the end.
6. What does Doug want the city council meeting for?

Answer: 3 percent of the total gross of the movie

The mayor thinks he's there to discuss the traffic light, but Doug's a bit more ambitious than that.
7. Which scene will Bob not do if he can't work out?

Answer: the pond scene

And he doesn't want to work out with the Waterford Huskies.
8. What court does Wally suggest Courteney bringing the lawsuit against himself in?

Answer: the World Court

Wally - 'Did you show Claire these sketches?' Courteney - 'Yes.' Wally - 'Did she throw up?' Courteney - 'That's not very nice.' Wally - 'Oh, really? Why don't you sue me in the world court.'
9. What is Claire's payment for the movie?

Answer: $3 million

Apparently the price is mostly for the nude scene.
10. Why doesn't Claire want to do the nude scene?

Answer: she got religion

And Wally's exasperated response: 'Her religion bars her from fulfilling her contract.'
11. Where is Claire crying about the nude scene?

Answer: bathroom

And it seems like pretty much everyone has stopped working to listen in awe.
12. According to Annie, what are the two elements in the script?

Answer: fire and water

The firehouse and the old mill. How very interpretive. Joe's response to her insights: 'What are you doing tonight?'
13. How are Bob's weights getting there?

Answer: FedEx

That'll cost a small fortune if they price by weight!
14. What does Marty (the producer) say is in his bags?

Answer: his undies

Because if they don't get the picture off in time, he's going to wet himself.
15. How does Wally say they're getting along with the townspeople?

Answer: like dykes and dogs

I'm not really sure what that's supposed to mean...
