David made his Formula One debut in 1994 for the Williams team. He replaced racing legend Ayrton Senna who had been killed at Imola. He didn't drive in all of the races for the rest of the season though, he was replaced himself by Nigel Mansell, who won his last ever GP in Adelaide.
