He was planning to get married after the end of the season to his fiancé, who at the time of his death was in Hungary arranging their marriage. Little did he know that he would never see her again. Moments before the end of the game, Fehér smiled for the last time after having been shown a yellow card from the referee. "It's incredible that something like this happens," said match referee Olegário Benquerença. "I immediately knew something was very wrong when he fell on the pitch and all I could do was call the medical crews of both teams."
