It was a very exciting season for fans at the Dunkin Donuts's Center as there were many upsets and competitive games. If it wasn't for the loss to Brown, it would have been a great home season.
2. What was Providence's record in the state of Florida?

Answer: 1-2

PC got blown out against Florida State and the National Champion Gators, but were able to pull out a close win against South Florida.
3. Which former PC player or coach was the Dunkin Donuts Center's court named after?

Answer: Dave Gavitt

The 1987 Final Four team, coached by Rick Pitino, was honored in 2005-06, and Joe Mullaney's name was put up in the rafters, along with Gavitt's.

This win put faith into Friar Nation showing the team would be able to compete amongst the best teams in the nation. This was a much needed win after suffering a real bad loss to Brown.
