Diane had always found herself to be intellectually superior to the others at the bar. While most of them sat around in a bar all day she had had 80 majors in college.

2. How did Coach say Sam felt about his brother?

Answer: "He hates him."

Sam always felt second best to his brother. He wanted nothing to do with his brother when his brother came to Cheers.

3. What was Sam's brother's name?

Answer: Derek

Derek was unseen and voiced by George Ball. Derek was the older brother of Sam Malone... older and more successful.

4. What did Sam Malone's brother do for a living?
