Coach thought these napkins were extremely funny. Sam didn't find them funny at all and was annoyed that Coach bought them without checking with him first.

2. What did Carla call Diane when Diane told Sam that Carla was messing up drink orders?

Answer: Snitchface

Carla was very interested in the Red Sox game which was affecting her ability to take drinks. However, she didn't like the fact that Diane ratted her out so she called her Snitchface. We saw from this early on that Carla was feisty and had a bit of a temper.

3. What announcement did Carla make after the Red Sox lost?

Answer: "As of right now, Carla Tortelli is no longer a Red Sox fan. No, no really I mean it this time."

Carla made this announcement whenever the Sox lost. Consequently, the entire bar knew what she was going to say by heart and joined in with her when she said it.

Fred was played by John Fiedler. Fiedler was born in 1925 and died in 2005. In the episode, Fred's family had a lot of money which as the youngest he always inherited when they died. He didn't like his family very much so he always celebrated by buying everyone at Cheers a drink.

Karabastsos wasn't always an actor. For 24 years before he became an actor he was a police officer. In the 1950s he was a professional wrestler known as "The Golden Greek".

Ed said that back in NY his friends all called him "Big Eddie". Carla responded with "Pig Eddie". From this moment on we saw Carla did not like this man or any man who dared insult her Boston teams.

Diane always spoke with big words. When Ed asked her about her vocabulary she became annoyed. She replied with, "How would you like to take a giant leap off a knuckle sandwich?"

Carla adored Sam, and in fact we saw in other episodes she always had a crush on him. Ed started in about Sam's drinking and Carla finally snapped, jumping on his back and attacking him.
