Sam was helping some people settle into a nice room at the Montecito when a gentleman there asked her a question. He wanted to know if it was possible that the curtains in his room shut all the way in order to keep out the light. Sam said that was the case and therefore the guy expressed amusement since he preferred nothing interrupt his sleeping.

As the opening credits rolled, Delinda went up to the security room to see Ed since she wanted to introduce him to a distant relative of hers. According to Delinda, a guest named Seth was her third cousin twice removed. Ed shook Seth's hand and Delinda spoke privately with Ed about hiring security to protect Sam.

In Mike's first scene in the episode, he was seen dressing nicely since he had a private date with one of the staffers, Nessa. He was seen right by a room at another establishment in Las Vegas when Nessa yanked him inside.
