Woody said you could hurt your knuckles that way. Frasier went on this spiel about how it wasn't really your knuckles that were cracked and informed Woody it was harmless.

Sonny Bono was the husband of Cher. They were also a singing duo, and had their own variety tv show in the 60s. Rebecca thought that Carla was going to say she looked like Cher, but Carla, always with the insults, said she looked like Sonny Bono.

Norm commented that he liked her earrings and said they looked real. He then asked if they were real little bananas. Rebecca was kind of put out because she was wearing real diamond earrings and Norm was more interested in Carla's than in hers.

Sam also got stood up for his date because she was sick. Rebecca retaliated by saying, "Yeah, sick of you."

Sam thought it would be a good idea for him and Rebecca to go together since they both lost their dates. Rebecca didn't want to go with him because she simply was not interested in Sam despite his many come-ons.

Rebecca thought that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff stole them. She said, "But he looked like such a nice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."

Cliff really liked the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and found it preposterous that anyone would accuse him of stealing. Later on however, he found out that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff wanted to get out of the bar before running into "that mailman" again. Cliff decided he was guilty of stealing.

Rebecca said she was so desperate to get the earrings back that she would do anything, even sleep with Sam. Sam found the earrings but they didn't end up sleeping together because Rebecca was so unenthusiastic about it.

Rebecca said when she met a guy she put him in one of three categories, yes, no or maybe. She then said that when she saw Sam Malone she thought "God no." Then Sam kissed her and when he left the office she said "Definite maybe" which Sam overheard. She tried to cover it up by saying she said other things that rhyme, such as "I think you gave me rabies."
