2. Who was the original television host of "College Bowl"?

Answer: Allen Ludden

Allen Ludden was the show's host when it started on television. He was followed by Robert Earle, who remained the host until 1970. Art Fleming was the host for the national tournaments in 1978 and 1979.
3. "College Bowl" and "University Challenge" have identical rules and scoring.
