Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the opening scene Brendon is telling Melissa that he is thinking about writing a movie review for a movie called "Helium Buffoon" and sending it to a website that gave it a bad review. They get into an argument straight from the start. Why does Melissa become frustrated with Brendon?

Answer: He insists on using www in front of every web address he uses in conversation.

Before Brendon could finish what he was saying Melissa tells him that he does not have to say www in front of a web address. Brendon disagrees with her, saying it is a necessity.
2. While Brendon and Melissa are having their conversation, Coach McGuirk interrupts them and makes a big scene. Why does he get angry?

Answer: They're having their conversation in the middle of a soccer game.

Coach McGuirk makes a big scene because Melissa and Brendon are just sitting in the middle of the soccer field during a game and having a conversation. In order to defend themselves, Melissa says that it's a quiet game, and Brendon admits that he forgot what sport they were playing.
3. Coach McGuirk eventually calms down and joins in the conversation with Brendon and Melissa. Towards the end of the conversation Melissa asks Coach McGuirk who his best friend is. Which two people does he say it is a tossup between?

Answer: A guy he met at a bar he regularly goes to and a guy from Sri Lanka he met online

Coach McGuirk says the guy from Sri Lanka is quite nice, while the guy from the bar apparently works at an automotive shop and promised him a new car battery. Towards the end of the episode, Coach McGuirk reveals that the guy wanted him to pay for it.
4. Mr. Lynch is chosen to be interim principal until a more permanent replacement is found. Coach McGuirk is obviously using this to his benefit. Among his many misdeeds, he takes over a science class. What does he teach the kids?

Answer: Don't mix beer and scotch.

The science teacher comes rushing to Mr. Lynch, begging for help. Mr. Lynch then calls Coach McGuirk from the intercom, holding his hands close to his mouth, thinking it is the proper way to talk through an intercom.
5. We see that Brendon is writing his review for "Helium Buffoon," but we also see quite a few typos. Which of the following words does he not misspell?

Answer: Business

He types arguement instead of argument, buffon instead of buffoon, and taked instead of takes. He also misspelled concerned, but he corrects it after he goes over his review, missing his other typos.
6. As with most episodes, Jason, Melissa and Brendon are working on a movie. Although the title is never verbally mentioned, you can see what it is during one scene where Jason is holding the script and saying that the movie sucks. What is the title?

Answer: O' Pinion Where Art Thou?

While working on a scene in the movie, Jason says "this sucks," and Melissa agrees with him. They both demand Brandon to improve the movie somehow, but he is too involved with writing a movie review.
7. Brendon's mom calls him up from the basement while he is shooting the movie. Thinking he's in trouble, what does Brendon accidentally blurt out?

Answer: He is getting checks.

His mom thinks it is a good thing that he is receiving checks for writing movie reviews, but she absolutely refuses to let him see "All That Violence," which is an R-rated movie. He needs to see the movie because the website sent him press passes in order to write a review for the movie.
8. Mr. Lynch tries to confront Coach McGuirk again, but the results are less than favorable. Apparently Coach McGuirk stole something from the school and moved it to Mr. Lynch's office, calling it a gift. What is the so-called gift?

Answer: A soda machine from the cafeteria

Mr. Lynch wants Coach McGuirk to return the soda machine to the cafeteria for the sake of the kids, but Coach McGuirk couldn't care less, saying that it would save them time from walking all the way to the cafeteria just to get a soda, and the children already have soda at home anyway.
9. Jason and Melissa are confronting Brendon for his lack of involvement with his movies due to his reviews. After Brendon tries to defend himself, how does Melissa explain it to him?

Answer: www.youvebeenignoringus.com

Brendon then responds with "www.iamsorry.com." Although Jason and Melissa don't respond to his apology, we assume they accepted it, as they move onto another subject.
10. Behind his mother's back Brendon asks Coach McGuirk if he could take him, along with Jason and Melissa, to an R-rated movie for a movie review. He agrees. In another scene we see Brendon, Jason and Melissa waiting for Coach McGuirk in some type of outside space. While being terrified of being hurt in some way, what does Melissa reveal in this scene?

Answer: Her dad buys alcoholic drinks for teenagers.

Throughout the episode, Coach McGuirk has car troubles. Unfortunately, as a result, his car battery goes dead as soon as he picks up the kids. They end up missing the movie, and Brendon apparently gets fired from writing movie reviews. We see Coach McGuirk and Mr. Lynch at the movie though, presumably at a later showing in which Brendon, Jason and Melissa could not attend. After the movie, as a way to solve the problem with Coach McGuirk, Andrew decides to suspend Coach McGuirk but with a paycheck. Coach McGuirk seems to be happy.
