Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. It's Ivy Week at Constance Billard and St. Jude's. What are the girls and guys in charge of respectively?

Answer: The Friday night mixer and ushers for the representatives

It's tradition that the Constance Billard girls are in charge of the Friday night mixer while the boys of St. Jude's were interviewed to find out who would escort which Ivy League representative.
2. What school does Nate's father want him to attend?

Answer: Dartmouth

The keywords to the Captain's future for Nate: Dartmouth, law school, Blair. Nate tries to reply that maybe he has his own plan, but the Captain doesn't seem that interested in listening to it.
3. Which rep does Dan want to be an usher for?

Answer: Dartmouth

Dan attends the interview in order to get the usher position for the Dartmouth rep; he claims Dartmouth is his dream and that he shares Dartmouth's principles of integrity, responsibility and consideration thanks to St. Jude's and his parents who sacrificed all to let him attend that privileged high school.
4. Who is chosen to be the usher for the Dartmouth rep?

Answer: Nate

Nate is definitely less focused. He admits to the interviewer that Dartmouth isn't his first choice; they should definitely let someone more motivated be in charge of the usher position. Who will be chosen? Nate, of course. Unfortunately, as Dan vehemently points out to Serena, it seems like... legacy rules.
5. When Blair asks Chuck to dig up something juicy on Serena, where does he catch her?

Answer: The Ostroff Center

During physical education, Blair fakes a leg injury and blames Serena, so the ref orders Serena to leave the field. However, Blair isn't satisfied yet. That's why she asks Chuck to uncover something juicy about her former BFF. And Chuck does see Serena while she is entering Ostroff Treatment Center.

In the end, Chuck and Blair assume Serena was there so she could get over some unspecified addiction.
6. Which rep does Serena hog all night, much to the dismay of Blair?

Answer: Yale

Serena was determined to get the Yale representative's attention since Blair has always wanted to attend Yale. Blair wasn't that thrilled about Serena's move and neither was Dan, who harshly criticized her behavior. In his opinion, Serena was being a spoiled brat.
7. Who arrives at the mixer and subsequently causes the war between Blair and Serena to heat up?

Answer: Dr. Ostroff

Blair takes his appearance as an opportunity to humiliate Serena. She claims that, as every year, their fancy school has chosen to support one local institution. The Ostroff Center - what a coincidence. Then, Blair asks Serena van der Woodsen to join her on stage, claiming the center helped her. Everyone is stunned but the most stunned are definitely the van der Woodsens. Eric wants to tell the truth but Serena doesn't let him and, once on stage, she thanks the Ostroff Center for its precious help.
8. What makes Blair regret her war with Serena?

Answer: Eric tells her he attempted suicide

Lily wants to take Eric back to the Ostroff Center but there is someone he wants to talk to first. Blair. He tells her basically to lay off Serena and he shows her the wounds from his attempted suicide.
9. When Blair goes to Central Park to talk to Serena, what does she bring with her?

Answer: the letter she wrote to Serena when she left

Blair's world was falling apart because her father left her mom for another man. And Serena was the only one she wanted to talk to but she was gone, without even saying goodbye. So she wrote her a letter.
10. Fill in the Gossip Girl quote: "Spotted in Central Park, _________________________. Could the Upper East Side piece of court be far off? So, what would it be? Truth or consequences? We all know one nation can't have two Queens. What happens next, only time will tell."

Answer: two white flags waving

Blair and Serena realize that both of their families are going through hard times and they need to be there for each other. They put their conflict aside and try to mend their friendship.
