Answer: Nicholas Brendon

Nicholas Brendon played Xander Harris. Nick was sick when this episode was filmed, so his twin brother filled in for him. This was in an article in the "Buffy" magazine.

2. What are Dawn and Buffy doing as the episode opens?

Giles had come over to cook dinner for Buffy and Dawn. They were washing the dishes and Giles came over to help, but Buffy said no because he had already cooked dinner for them.

Glory told the duo it was NOT Bob Barker, the Key was new to the world and Bob was as old as Grant. These minions already knew the Key was "new to the world" and they still brought her Spike..

Buffy went to this sacred place and the first slayer appeared and Buffy said, "You're the first slayer." Then the first slayer said, "This is a form, I am the guide." Buffy asked some questions, then the first slayer told Buffy she was full of love and that death was her gift. Buffy didn't understand what this meant until the finale "The Gift".
