Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Dee wants Charlie, Mac, and her brother Dennis to meet a guy from her acting class. What race weren't the guys expecting Terrell to be?

Answer: Black

When Terrell comes in, all three guys start talking all at once, not sure of what to do. Dee feels very uncomfortable, and Mac comes out and says "We weren't expecting you to be black, that's all...".
2. Mac and Charlie go to a campus to "get some black friends", because it's 2005, and they really should have some. Everyone seems to like Charlie, with one girl even going so far as to invite him to play "bones", and everyone cheering him on as he does. What game is "bones"?

Answer: Dominoes

When Charlie and Mac leave the building, Mac is annoyed that those people (in the building) like Charlie more than him, but Charlie interprets Mac's statement "those people" to mean all African Americans, and says "maybe it's statements like that!"
3. Charlie was so obsessed with the waitress he had a crush on at the coffee place, that he kept a photograph of her in his wallet.

Answer: True

Mac wrestled Charlie on the campus in order to get his wallet and prove the picture was still in Charlie's wallet, which created a huge scene and made everyone stare.
4. Tarrell does something right, or so it seems, because business is booming at Paddy's! What had Tarrell turned the bar into?

Answer: The hottest gay bar in Philadelphia

Mac and Dee are not all that thrilled about the gay bar thing, but Charlie and Dennis are all for it. They take a vote, and it would have been two against two, but...
5. Which one of the four does not partly own the bar?

Answer: Dee

The gang took a vote, but Dee couldn't vote on whether or not to keep the gay bar because she didn't own the bar - she was just a bartender! So it was Charlie and Dennis against Mac, or two against one. The gay bar was staying.
6. Which one of the gang was getting all the attention, and all the tips, because of how attractive they were?

Answer: Dennis

The black people all liked Charlie, the homosexual men all thought Dennis was cute, and no one liked Mac or Dee. Dee was probably right when she said Dennis just liked the attention, even though he wasn't gay!
7. Dee had a plan to get the bar back to normal. She asked Mac to get Dennis as drunk as possible on tequila - she wanted her brother "blackout drunk". Was Dee's actual plan for Dennis to wake up naked in a room with other naked gay guys?

Answer: No

At the very end of the episode, it is revealed that, although waking up next to a gay guy and having another man slap his naked butt is what actually happened to Dennis, Dee had a plan for something different that didn't end up happening. So Mac and Dee then wonder - what actually did end up changing his mind?
8. In order for Mac to get Dennis really drunk, he forces Dennis to keep showing him what the correct order of salt licking, lime sucking, and taking a shot of tequila is. What was the correct order?

Answer: You lick the salt, then you take a shot of tequila, then you suck on the lime

Mac keeps purposely messing up the order, and then asks Dennis to show him again how to do it, because Mac's "not getting it". This, of course, requires Dennis to take a shot of tequila and get more drunk each time. This is funny on television, but, of course, would not be something recommended you try for yourself.
9. Dee had been coming on to Tarrell for weeks, and is outraged that he didn't tell her he was gay. He thought it was obvious, him being a musical theater actor and all. Why did he think she kept flirting with him?

Answer: He thought she had a thing for gay guys

She exclaims that she's not into gay men, but Tarrell replies, "well, obviously you are", which leaves Dee momentarily speechless.
10. The cute black girl who gives Charlie her number, Janell, gets very angry with Charlie. She gets angry because Charlie asks out another woman while Charlie and Janell are still on their date! Janell punches Charlie, which causes Charlie to hate Janell. Near the end of the episode, Tarrell gets protective of his sister. Now, when Tarrell says "sister", does he mean "friend", or does he actually mean his sister?

Answer: He actually means his sister

Mac asks this racist question at the beginning and end of the episode. Tarrell actually means his sister, so Mac replies that "you people really are related" - but then tries to take back the fact that he said "you people" again!

I think this show can be really funny. I hope you enjoyed my quiz on this episode of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"!
