Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Was the set of "TattleTales" always split into three different colored zones?

Answer: No

There are a select few episodes where the stage and audience was not set into red, yellow, and blue zones.
2. In "Whammy!" what is the limit the Big Bank can hold?

Answer: There is no limit

There is not a set limit for the bank, but it has reached in excess of $51,500 at least once.
3. How many "no" answers were allowed in "What's My Line?" in the 1950's?

Answer: 10

Each "no" answer was worth $5, and the maximum paid in the game to one contestant was $50.
4. Are the units of dollars the same in each episode of "National Lampoon's Funny Money"?

Answer: No

There are units ranging from ones to bazillions, so units are not the same on each episode. If anyone knows how much a "bazillion" is, please let me know.
5. In "Card Sharks," what was the worst card to choose higher or lower on?

Answer: 8

If a contestant had an 8, there were 6 cards lower (2-7), and 6 cards higher (9-A), so the 8 was the worst card to have face up.
6. How much was the pot in "Win Ben Stein's Money"?

Answer: $5,000

Ben Stein started a pot with $5,000 of "my money." I believe the money was Stein's, but if anyone can tell me for sure, please let me know.
7. Has "Wheel Of Fortune" always played for cash?

Answer: No

Back in the early and mid 1980's, cash awarded for solving a puzzle was given to choose prizes from a turntable. It wasn't until 1988 or 1989 that cash was awarded instead of prizes. If there was no prize available when a contestant had little "cash" left, the contestant received a gift certificate for the remaining dollars.
8. In "Friend Or Foe?" how many missed questions end the bonus round?

Answer: 3

As in baseball, three strikes and you're out.
9. Which of the following was not a host of "Win, Lose, Or Draw" in the USA version?

Answer: none of these

Vicki Lawrence held the daytime reins of this series, Bert Convy was the nighttime host until Robb Weller took it over in 1989. This series ended in 1990.
10. How many co-hosts did "Win Ben Stein's Money" have?

Answer: 3

Jimmy Kimmel (1997-2001), Nancy Pimental (2001-02), and Sal Iacono (2002) were the three co-hosts of this show. This series ended in 2002.
