This spoof was satirizing the adult diaper commercials like Depends.

John Belushi also did a skit with white powdered donuts. It was satirizing his use of cocaine in that the powdered sugar of the donut appears underneath his nose.

The funny part was when the guy had an accident and wet it to "fix" the car.
As we are shown the spoof commercial, the driver has been seated in the driver's seat, he stands and we now see that his light colored clothing has a big red clay stain on the back of his clothes.

In this spoof, the sudden emergence of 30,000 bowls would equal one bowl of whatever Phil Hartman was having. Introduced during the commercial spoof is even finished is Super Colon Blow that would now equal 2.5 million bowls of the cereal he was eating. That's a lot of bowls and a great special effect on this commercial spoof.

Funny stuff. As they are sitting around enjoying a bowl, their crunching is so loud it is impossible to hear their breakfast converstaion. Imagine, if you will, what became of their teeth from eating this "mined" cereal.

This skit on "Saturday Night Live" originally aired on October 8, 1988.

I was totally fooled by this commercial spoof. There were two parts to this commercial spoof, both airing that night on the show hosted by Tom Hanks.

This spoof of the Ford LTD commercial with the diamond cutter in the backseat was such a fantastic idea and shows how much "SNL" has influenced us all in so many ways, and even through the "thin years" has some classic stuff.
