Incorporating a normal 10-month Betazoid pregnancy into the second season of "TNG" would have been difficult, most of all for Marina Sirtis (she wasn't pregnant at that time and would have needed to wear a prop)! Two regular "Star Trek" actresses, however, have portrayed pregnant characters in order to accommodate their real-life pregnancies: Nana Visitor (Kira Nerys) in the fourth and fifth seasons of "Deep Space Nine" and Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) in the seventh season of "Voyager." Chief Engineer Charles "Trip" Tucker was also memorably impregnated during the "Enterprise" episode "Unexpected."

The character of Dr. Pulaski was introduced during season two as a replacement for Dr. Crusher. Deliberately modeled on the curmudgeonly but lovable Leonard "Bones" McCoy of "The Original Series," Pulaski ultimately proved less popular with fans than Dr. Crusher, and Gates McFadden returned in season three for the duration of the series. Data first became interested in the character of Sherlock Holmes during the first-season episode "Lonely Among Us," though "Elementary, Dear Data" sees Data and Geordi's first adventure as the detective and Dr. Watson, respectively. Moriarty returns in season six for the episode "Ship in a Bottle."

It was, in fact, Debin of Altec who accused Okona of impregnating Debin's daughter Yanar. In the end, we learn that Benzan, Kushell's son, had stolen the Jewel of Thesia, a national treasure on Straleb, to give to Yanar (whom Benzan had impregnated) as a marriage gift; Okona was merely the jewel's courier.

While aboard the Enterprise, Okona inspires Lt. Commander Data to learn more about humor, an endeavor in which he is assisted by Guinan. Consensus seems to be that the android science officer needs more practice!

Answer: Harmony/Wisdom

The Chorus consists of only three members (there is no "Diplomat/Leader" persona). From the first moment they meet, Riva is obviously smitten with Counselor Troi. When he invites her to dinner, only the Warrior/Adonis interpreter accompanies them. Tragically, the Chorus is murdered in an incident on the planet Solais V.

Although Dr. Selar is mentioned in subsequent episodes, she is never seen again. Susie Plakson, the actress portraying Selar, is best known for her role as K'Ehleyr, a Federation diplomat and "mate" to Worf. Plakson also played roles on "Voyager" and "Enterprise." Dr. Ira Graves, a specialist in cybernetics, fashioned himself as something of a "grandfather" to Data, as Graves served as a mentor to Data's creator, Dr. Noonien Soong. Graves shows little regard for Data, however, when he transfers his consciousness into the android, thereby suppressing Data's own personality.

Answer: Captain Telaka

The 30-year old L. Isao Telaka and his crew are all found dead and in an advanced geriatric state. The crew of the Enterprise is able to restore Dr. Pulaski to her normal age by using a trace of her unaltered DNA in conjunction with the transporter. Rapid aging is again seen in the sixth-season "Man of the People," in which Counselor Troi finds herself the victim of telepathic diplomat who begins surreptitiously uses Deanna as a conduit for his negative emotions and consequently causes her to age dramatically. "The Original Series" episode "The Deadly Years" also involves several senior staff members prematurely reaching their twilight years. For the record, Captain Laporin was mentioned in the "DS9" episode "Apocalypse Rising," Captain Tracey was featured in "TOS's" "The Omega Glory," and Captain Hernandez commanded the Columbia (NX-02) throughout "Enterprise's" fourth season.

Answer: Chadre'kab

Chadre'kab is, in fact, a Talaxian dish and speciality of Neelix's. Dr. Pulaski seems repulsed by Riker's culinary choices as she watches him eat before his departure. Aboard the Pagh, Number One gets to enjoy other appetizing delicacies, such as Rokeg Blood Pie and Bregit Lung.

Although the thought of eating live Gagh doesn't initially seem to agree with Riker, he eventually gives in and devours a handful. More pressing challenges arise for the commander later in this episode, when he relieves the Klingon captain of his command.

Answer: Guinan

The ever-wise El Aurian bartender helps Picard appreciate the awesome responsibility the Captain has assumed is defending Data's rights as an individual. Ultimately, JAG Phillipa Louvois rules that Data is not property of Starfleet, in effect granting him the freedoms accorded to all sentient beings under Federation law. Data's relationship to humanity is a theme explored throughout the entire series and in each of the four "Next Generation" movies.

In the ultimate of "human" sacrifices, Data gives his life to save Captain Picard and the Enterprise-E in "Star Trek: Nemesis."

Answer: Allasomorph

Wesley Crusher gets a lesson in love during "The Dauphin." Although she appears humanoid, Salia, heir to the throne of Daled IV, is able to change her form at will. Anya, Salia's protector, also an Allasomorph, shape-shifts several times during the episode, most memorably into a giant bug-eyed monster that gives Lt. Worf a run for his money in sickbay. Changelings are the Gamma-Quadrant race featured prominently in "Deep Space Nine," while we meet a treacherous Chameloid prisoner in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" (who in her right mind assumes the form of William Shatner anyway)? Devidians are a hostile species that feeds on human neural energy, as seen in "Time's Arrow, Parts I and II."
