1. Who created the Medusa virus?

Answer: Supergirl's Kryptonian father

The virus was designed to fight off intruders on Krypton. Cadmus wanted to use it to rid the Earth of all aliens.

2. Which holiday was being celebrated at the beginning of the episode?

Answer: Thanksgiving

It was was becoming a theme for the series, this is the second year in a row they did a Thanksgiving episode and had Eliza Danvers in as a guest appearance. Danvers was played by Helen Slater, who played "Supergirl" in the 1984 live-action movie.

3. Who did Kara interview for a piece on women in power and their mothers?

Answer: Lena Luthor

She was trying to find out what Lena knew about Lillian Luthor's plans to use Supergirl's blood. She didn't get any real answers during the interview.

4. Who killed the aliens at the bar?

Answer: Cyborg Superman

He placed a device under the bar and walked out. Mon-El followed him out and they fought in the alley. While they were fighting the device released a toxic gas inside the bar.

The virus, which would kill any aliens that weren't Kryptonian, was set to be released at the seaport. The show never explained why humans weren't killed by the virus that was designed to save only Kryptonians.

His mutated into a hybrid green-white martian and managed to get the upper hand on the Cyborg. He had known all along it was happening, but it happened at just the right time to allow him to win the fight.

Answer: The Flash

This was the second appearance for Barry Allen/The Flash on "Supergirl". The Flash and Cisco came to get Supergirl to help them with a fight in their own dimension. This appearance was the set up to a 4-show crossover event. Titled "Invasion!" it began with the brief appearance on "Supergirl" season 2 episode 8 and continued on "The Flash" season 3 episode 8, then "Arrow" season 5 episode 8 and finished on "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 episode 7.
