"Absolutely Fabulous" had five seasons and several specials for a total of 39 episodes. The series tells the story of two middle-aged, yet immature women, who continue to try to relieve their glory days in "mod" London. The pair are co-dependent and encourage more and more outrageous behavior from each other.
The series originated in a skit by French and Saunders, "Modern Mother".

"This Wheel's on Fire" was originally written by Bob Dylan and Rick Danko in 1967. The theme song for "Absolutely Fabulous" was a cover of the song by Julie Driscoll and Adam Edmondston.
2. "Birds of a Feather" (1989-2020)

"Birds of a Feather" ran for 129 episodes and twelve seasons. The series focused on two sisters whose husbands were sent to prison for armed robbery. Though they have things in common, their lives have also gone in very different directions since their respective marriages. The series was on hiatus from 1998 to 2014 before being revived.

"What'll I Do?" was originally written in 1923 by Irving Berlin for the "Music Box Revue". In the series, the song was performed by Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke, two members of the cast.

Set in the fictional town of Walmington-on-Sea, "Dad's Army" focused on a unit of the British Home Guard during World War Two. The series ran for nine seasons and 80 episodes. Many of the characters were men who would have been considered too old to serve on the front line during the war. Two films were made based on the series, one in 1971 and one in 2016.

The theme song for the series, "Who do you think you are kidding, Mr. Hitler?" had lyrics by Jimmy Perry, music by Derek Taverner, and was performed by Bud Flanagan.
5. "Father Ted" (1995-1998)

Lasting for three seasons and 25 episodes, "Father Ted" initially aired on Channel 4. The series focuses on three priests who room and work together on Craggy Island, off the west coast of Ireland. It was implied or shown that the priests had been sent to this posting because of past misbehaviors. Between the second and third series, a special Christmas episode was shown.

The instrumental theme song "Songs of Love" was composed by the group The Divine Comedy.
6. "Friday Night Dinner" (2011-2020)

The Goodman family's friday night dinners is the focus of the series "Friday Night Dinner". The program lasted for six seasons and 37 episodes. Set in suburban London, the series shows the family gathering for the weekly Shabbat dinner as various interruptions occur. The show aired in its initial run on Channel 4.

The theme song, "Animal" was composed and performed by the band Mike Snow. The song reached Number 98 on the UK Singles chart when it was initially released in 2009.
7. "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" (1974-1981)

"It Ain't Half Hot Mum" ran for eight seasons and 56 episodes. The series was set in India late near the end of World War Two. The series focuses on a group of entertainers for the military. Popular in its day, "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" is no longer shown on broadcast television dues to issues of cultural insensitivity.

The theme song for the series was "Meet the Gang".
8. "On the Buses" (1969-1973)

Beginning in the second season, the theme song "Flagpole Sitta" was composed and performed by the band Harvey Danger. for the first season, the theme song "Pip Pop Pop" was composed and performed by Daniel Pemberton.
10. "The Royle Family" (1998-2000)

"The Royle Family" ran for three seasons and 25 episodes. Set in Manchester, the series largely takes place in the living room of the Royle Family. The program focuses on the conversations by the family which often tie in to the television program that is on at the time. During its run, the series won several BAFTA awards.

The band Oasis wrote and performed the theme song "Half the World Away".
