Jimmy Shive-Overly is a British writer in the show played by Chris Geere. In the beginning of the first episode, he is thrown out of Becca and Vernon's wedding. Becca was Jimmy's ex-girlfriend. He confronts Becca saying that she only invited him to rub his nose in her happiness. He is then thrown out by Vernon. Jimmy mouths off to them and then leaves the place.

After he gets thrown out of the wedding, Jimmy goes to have a smoke. Gretchen walks up to him and asks him if he has another cigarette. He gives her one and then they start talking. She stole a gift from the wedding and Jimmy tells her its only a blender. One thing leads to another and she spends the night with him even though he asks her to leave.

Gretchen is played by Aya Cash.

Answer: He was Jimmy's dealer

Edgar Quintero is played by Desmin Borges. In the show, Edgar is a former soldier who suffers from PTSD. He lives with Jimmy and does all the chores for which he is allowed to stay for free. He meets Gretchen after she spends the night with Jimmy and he tells her that they met when Jimmy was in college and he was his dealer.

She tells him that Jimmy was kind to give him books in those days.

Answer: He tells Jimmy that his father designs video games and so he gets all the new ones

Killian Mounce is a kid who moves into a house next to Jimmy's. When Jimmy goes out to get his mail, Killian walks up to him and asks him if he wants to hang out. Jimmy then goes on to explain why an adult like him would not want to hang out with a child. Killian tells Jimmy that his father designs video games and so he gets all the new ones. Jimmy then tells Killian to come over around eight o'clock.

In the first season, Killian is played by Shane Francis Smith.

Answer: For wrecking the photographer's equipments

Gretchen didn't attend Sam's photoshoot during which Sam and his friends ruined some of the photographer's equipment which upset him. Gretchen confronts him and asks him to apologize to the photographer to which Sam initially refuses. Gretchen somehow gets him to apologize and Sam then tells her that she has to get him cocaine.

Answer: Food

Edgar lets Gretchen into the house to meet Jimmy and retrieve her purse. Gretchen tells Jimmy that she just came to get her purse. Jimmy goes on to ask her why she slept over and this hurts her feelings. She then goes on a rant telling Jimmy that he was lucky that she came home with him.

She implies that she was vulnerable and that she would never be able to get a girl like her. She tells him that he was her rock bottom and storms out of his place.

Answer: That their country is the business interests of evil men

Edgar comes to talk to Jimmy about Gretchen while he is playing video games with Killian. Jimmy refuses to pay attention to what Edgar has to say, so he grabs him in a choke hold and tells him that he thinks that Gretchen is different from all the other girls that Jimmy has been with. Jimmy tells Edgar that he is a mental case who is on pills and so he doesn't need to listen to him. Edgar reminds him that he fought for the country to which Jimmy responds that all he fought for was the business interests of evil men. Edgar then tells him that their country is the business interests of evil men. Jimmy says that that may have been the most intelligent thing that he has heard Edgar say.

Answer: Sitting in the bath tub

Ty Wyland is one of Gretchen's romantic partners. She goes to his place after the fight with Jimmy and then they sleep together. She asks him for some cocaine, presumably for Sam. She then gets the cocaine and crawls into a bath tub and snorts it. She gets a call from Jimmy and they have a nice, long conversation.

This episode was directed by Jordan and it was written by Stephen Falk, who also created the show. Other stars of the show are Kether Donohue as Lindsay Jillian, Janet Varney as Becca Barbara, Stephen Schneider as Ty Wyland and Brandon Mychal Smith as Sam Dresden.

Jordan has directed movies such as 'The Kings of Summer'. She has directed a few episodes for the TV show 'Death Valley'.

Answer: Gretchen

Gretchen takes Jimmy's car without letting him know. JImmy freaks out when he leaves the house and sees his car not there and tells Edgar to call the cops. Edgar then tells him that he saw Gretchen leave with the car and figured he lent the car to her. Later on, when Jimmy calls Gretchen while she is at Ty's place, he tells he that he knows she took the car.

She says she just borrowed it and apologizes for it.
